Visited Golden Sands beach when we used the hop on hop off bus for the north of the island, recommended and only 22 euros per person for the day. You can also get there using a local bus for 2 euros from the square in St Paul's Bay.There are not many sandy beaches around, this was the closet one to... More

Relaxing family place, lots of fresh food and iced cold drinks. Must visit, it's ideal place for all ages young and old. Highly recommend place to visit. It's safe as there is a life guard on duty, including a first aider. Happy holidays

The golden sands was full and the water wasn't warn as the rest of the beach we went, as we get there we were surprise to see that the water wasn't very clear. We end up leaving 30 mim after to the Riviera, which was amazing,... More

Fabulous beach visited it several times. There are little kiosk type shops and some nice bars where you can buy drinks and lunch for a reasonable price ..

I visit this place at least once every Summer. The sand is nice but the water always has little bits of stuff floating in it. I hate that. I want water that is crystal clear and without debris. There is a decent bar next to the beach that serves food and you can rent an umbrellas and sun chair for... More

This is one of my favourite beaches in Malta! You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas to be more comfortable and there is also a restaurant from where you can buy food and beverages.

Over priced sports -simply silly money and much dearer than other beaches in Malta. Sea is rocky when entering and hurt my foot -be warned

Been there with my kids (15-18). Nice beach but really nothing particular... Certainly not a must see. Only cute thing a turtle nest in the middle of the beach

Pros to using the beach is that it was used for several film locations including Troy- it's secluded and well staffed with a bar, toliets, showers, beds etc. Cons are that the beach is crowded due to size, and the sea is quite seaweedy and unclean. The car park is manned and contributions are accepted- park down on the beach... More
