I highly recommend getting in contact with Laura to put together a tour in Verona. She responds to emails quickly and efficiently. I did a evening walking tour through historic Verona and we stopped at Osterias for wine tasting. She is very knowledgeable about the history in Verona and, of course, the wine. She also gave great suggestions on where to eat and places to visit. The tour was very personal and one of the best I've ever experienced. It was a great way to get introduced to Verona. I will be in contact with her again, to have another wonderful experience, next time I plan a trip to Verona.

Love terrific wine experiences while touring the Italian countryside like us? Valpolicella Tours with Laura Cesari was for us the absolute best! We researched different services on TripAdvisor and elsewhere, contacted a few and found Laura to be the perfect person to act as our guide, driver and sommelier. She was quick to respond, and we spent over an hour on the phone discussing our ideas for touring Valpolicella, Lake Garda, Soave, Alto Adige, and the Prosecco producing area of Valdobbiadene. She listened to what we wanted and put together a custom itinerary incorporating our ideas with places and smaller wineries where she had great contacts. Growing up and living in a vineyard with a family winery and lots of local contacts made her perfect for us. She helped arrange a great shipper to get some wines we bought back to the U.S. We spent a lot of time together in the car and found her enjoyable to be with and of course so knowledgeable. Wouldn't hesitate to use her again on our next trip to Verona and to recommend her to our friends.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Verona and wanted to visit the Valpolicella region and see the vineyards and do a wine tasting. We had no idea the treat we were in for once we met Laura!

Laura was super helpful in designing a tour that was exactly what we wanted. She welcomed us to her family's estate and, in addition to a wonderful tour and explanation of the wine making process, Laura welcomed us into her home, prepared amazing foods for us to taste the wines with the foods and we had a wonderful time learning about her and the wine.

If you want a personal, intimate tour of a beautiful vineyard in the Amarone, I highly recommend Laura!

On our last trip to Verona my wife and I did a full day private tour of the Valpolicella region with Laura and had the most amazing time. We returned with my two sisters to find some family history knowing that our maternal grand father was born near Verona. Laura and Maarten help us locate the records of four relatives dating back to the 1700’s. We also took another Valpolicella tour and a quick trip to Lake Garda with them. The perfect people to show you around. Doug and Karen Australia

This was , for some of us, our second winetour with Laura. As 2014 was supposed to be one of the best years for tasting AMARONE wines, we had promised to come back this year, and so we did..
This time we where a group of friends, 6 couples with a common interesst in food and wine.
In our "package" Laura had arranged the pick up at Bergamo airport, and also the return with a bus , so we did not actually have to think about anything, all was arranged in beforehand.

And we where in for another superb tour and experience. Laura did a very nice planning and route for us both for the scenery and for the wines and restaurants... And this time we had also the mix of wine and dinner experience, wich gave the winetour/tasting a new dimension... Very, very nice. Laura
Our first day was in the SOAVE district (and the extended Valpolicella) wich we tested both Soave white wines and also some red wines. Nice wineries, good wines from both Pra (especially the white wine) and from TRABUCCI ( excellent RECIOTO wine) and in between we had a great lunch at the Villa De Winckels. What a nice place!! Very good food and a great winecellar and shop...
The next day Laura took us for the Osteria's tour in Verona city, wich gave us a much better knowledge of the town, both in terms of history and a bit of the everyday life, and we also caught the first ever evening of the lights in verona wich was great to see. And of course some nice wines again in some of the Osterias.
The next day Laura picked us up egain, and out to the Valpolicella Classico area with its AMARONE ,RIPASSO and Recioto wines, and again we got an excellent experience thruoghout the day, a very good lunch at the Villa de la Torre, amazing Villa with good food in very special circumstances. And the visit at the Zyme winery was a very different visit, and very nice to see, and for having the best closure of our winetrip this time, we went to Brigaldara winery, wich is the winery of Laura's family and in our opinion also has the best wines we have got so far in the Valpolicella area.. Wonderful place and area to visit. And also with the perfect host in Laura of course..

Overall again, Laura has done an excellent job in planning, maybe even better than the last time, and the job she did with the perfect mix of food and wine was very good.. I can recommend this experience to anybody that loves good wine and food.
And the company of Laura is so very relaxed and nice, and there are no pressure during the trip.
As we also got the possibility to both see and stop by the wonderful landscape in between all winetasting, Laura also showed us her great knowledge about this area around Verona city.

In total , a great trip, Laura must be one of the very best guides in the area, and I would recommend everyone to do such an experience in good food and wine..
Dont hesitate , just do it !! Contact Laura at Valpolicella Tours

Laura collected my wife and I from our hotel in Veneto early one April morning and returned us late afternoon after a fascinating tour of the region. If you want someone who can put the Valpolicella and Bardolino wineries into context with the local way of life this tour is for you. The highlight of the day was the time spent at Laura's family vineyard at Brigaldara-the wines are truely excellent and it was interesting to learn how the different wines are produced. We enjoyed the views from the surrounding beautiful countryside in addition to the visits to other well known vineyards. Laura is very flexible and if you want to see the views of lake Garda that Winston Churchill painted she will show you that too.

We had a wonderful time with Laura who is very knowledgable since her family has a winery too. Her english was perfect. We did go over the estimated time so don't plan anything too close to the ending.

Laura was a fantastic host, nothing was too much and her generosity surpassed all expectations. We had a fantastic morning and afternoon driving around Valpolicella, stopping at different wineries and admiring the views. Our final stop at Laura’s family vineyard was exceptional. We tried all of their wines, had cheese to accompany them, and lapped up Laura’s knowledge of wine and the area. A fantastic day, I cannot recommend highly enough.
Thank you Laura!

I contacted Laura because a colleague had wine toured with her and had a wonderful time. But I knew with two small children, we could not visit multiple vineyards. So she invited us to her family vineyard, Brigaladara (outside of Verona). She showed us around the vineyard and the wine making facilities. We learned about her family history and we tasted wines. She was so kind, informative, and incredibly attentive and engaging with my children. We were able to ship wine directly to the US. It was a great afternoon for the whole family.
