Marco was a fantastic guide! He walked us through the beautiful cellar, explaining the art of winemaking with expertise and great humor. The tasting was fantastic and the hospitality could not have been better. Highly recommend a visit if looking for a winery with both a mastery of the traditional Valpolicella and Amarone wines of the region but also fantastic new blends bringing a super Tuscan flair to Veneto.

We had a wonderful time at this winery. Marco gave us tour of their beautiful cellar, that has a touch of the past with a modern twist. We had wine tasting of 8 wines, all delicious. I highly recommend you book a tour/tasting, if you are in the area.

My visit to Veneto had as its high point a visit with a most congenial and cordial vintner, Celestino Gasparino. His Zyme facility, although not quite complete yet, proved to be a highlight of our experience. He was generous and hospitable and made us immediately feel welcomed. He truly loves what he has accomplished and seemed to want to share it with us unconditionally. My wife, daughter and son-in-law visited on the spur of the moment while construction was wrapping up on the cave and new facility connecting to the existing one. If you want to wait until the construction is complete, check in a couple of months when he says he will begin utilizing the new faciity for this years "crush". An expected early harvest due to warmer conditions is necessitating a beehive of activity to get it operational and ready by August. Central to the attraction is a natural spring that flows through the "cave" discovered during construction and the use of excavated stone from the foundation for flooring and walls. Interesting too is the use of concrete, glass lined, vats for processing.

Wines from dry whites to Amerone, Grappa and a wonderful EVOO are also available for tasting and of course purchase. The only regret is that we didn't have room on the plane to bring home more olive oil and wines that are not available in the "States". We are checking with our wine shop retailer for availablility of these jewels here at home in Miami.

The wine here is excellent, and the innovation it demonstrates is reflected in the architecture of the building. We enjoyed our tour, particularly meeting the patrone, and Marco who did the tour was passionate and very knowledgeable.

Honestly the most beautiful winery ecstatically speaking ever!!!! Now the wine......no words for how fantastic it is......doesn't need any food to make it exceptional I highly recommend the wine and the tour as it is modern but old school all mixed into one!!! The owners are truly passionate about their art

Family
My family had an exceptional tour at Zyme winery with Marco this afternoon - in fact, it was an unforgettable experience! For one, English-speaking Marco was formerly a teacher, and thus was able to engage both my wife and I, experienced wine enjoyers, and our teenage boys for the entire tour of the inner workings of the facility, it’s fascinating history dating back to its use during WW2, and the amazing architectural designs incorporating natural quarry stone an underwater stream providing humidification and modern technological features. We learned all about the history of Italy, the development of the wine industry in the Verona region and specific Zyme vinification processes for their regional varietals. The tasting that followed was an wonderful selection ranging from creamy delicious Spumante to zesty balanced whites to incredible red blends and finishing with their smooth candied late harvest. In our years of wine tasting in many parts of Europe, this was most memorable - we left Zyme with more thorough knowledge of Northern Italian vinification, tasting techniques, and an experience which will foster wine appreciation in my teenage boys for their lifetimes! Thank you so much Marco! We look forward to coming to enjoy your expertise again some day!

Cellar really amazing. Wines were good but very over priced. We toured the area for a number of days and found better amarones at better prices. Also, even though I bought 750 euro of wine, they would not waive the tasting charge. Not one other estate in 3 days charged us.

Nice to see the cellar but would not go back and would not recommend

I visited this winery during summer and found it really interesting. You can taste and buy their wines (also some special types), visit the cellar obtained from a cave underground and get a full description of different types of wines of the Valpolicella region

Myself and my partner visited here while staying nearby in Villa Giona. It was super easy to find and our guide Marco was really informative & made the whole experience very enjoyable. It was also quite cheap for the tasting & tour. We purchased some wine on the way out but there is no obligation or pressure to do so.
