A museum on three floors - art on the top level, a church on the middle and archaeology at the bottom. All very interesting with some great story boards for kids in the church.

Frescoes in church comparable with those in Assisi. A nice museum with a separate presentation of additional masterpieces. Free wine tasting of Montefalco wines. The ticket is valid for some nearby attractions (I would recommend mosaics in Bevagna).

The highlight of this Museum are the frescoes depicting the life of St Francis of Assisi in the Apse of the Church. The museum also has an old wine cellar where the monks would store their wine. Very peaceful and well work a visit

If you go in the next few days be aware. The church museum is being decorated and most of the church is roped off. Not worth the money The Pinoteca was not great either. Unless you are a real fan of church painting I would...More

Church full of paintings, transformed into a small but beautiful museum. A surprise, a magical place, is worth the visit.

After the craziness of Assisi, this is a wonderfully quiet Museum in which to appreciate the religious frescoes in the deconsecrated church and the collection of religious art and artefacts in a more modern space. Unlike many attractions in Umbria, it doesn't open until 10am...More
