Special Activity in the Wine Country in Montefalco, Italy

We enjoyed a lovely wine tasting lunch cooked by the family. The wine & olive oil instruction, again from the family owners of the vineyard, was very interesting!

This is one of my favourite Cantinas - I have been here twice now - both with Gusto Wine tours. The wine is sublime the olive oil is the hidden gem. Come and experience a real family business and the most spectacular wines !

We visited this place on a Discovering Umbria tour, and thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the vineyards and the wine and olive oil tasting. Bought a case or two which was shipped back to Texas very quickly, and will have an excuse to go back when it runs out. Owners were very informative, and very committed to the excellent environment... More

This was an amazing place with exceptional wine. Our host and Somali knew every last detail about the wine and olive oil made at the Winery. There are grapes grown here that are only grown in Montefalco and the wines they produced were outstanding! Loved the beauty of the estate and how the wines are organic and carefully selected. If... Can't say enough about this family-run wine and olive oil producing grove. Set in the picturesque Umbrian countryside, the views from this farm are only matched by the quality of their wines. You will have a great appreciation for the work that goes into running this vineyard. The entire family pitches in to make it a successful operation. We were... More

We were fortunate enough to have a wine tasting lunch at Romanelli in late September 2015, arranged by our driver, Umbriadriver, Gianluca Siena. It was a glorious day - puffy clouds floated in a blue sky over a broad valley with Assisi and Spello in the far distance, surrounding us a beautifully tended farm with 7 acres of vineyards, 3,000... While visiting Montefalco we booked a tasting with "light lunch". I had the vegetarian lunch which started with bruschetta and their delicious white wine. The next course was caprese salad (others had sliced meats) with their own yummy olives paired with their Rosso. The next course was a tasty fresh pasta paired with their Riserva. Next came the cheese course... More
