The photo tour we attended was a gift for my husband, an expert photographer. Initially, I was sceptical if join the tour with him, because as a beginner I knew only a few photographic notions. Thanks to Marco I discovered also my photographic skills. I had a chance to learn different genres of photography and how to take advantage of light and shadows. At the end I was very proud of my shots. I've taken back home many beautiful pictures. Marco helped me to find out a photographic passion and showed me many amazing places. The Tuscany Photo Tour has been one of the most interesting and beautiful experience we have ever had.

This is my second time working with Marco Bulgarelli. I first worked with him in Roma for a half day photography workshop. I felt like his guidance really helped improve by photography skills. When I decided to return to Italy, he was top on my list to work with again.
Marco did a fantastic job organizing our 5 day Tuscan photography group. He certainly knows Tuscany and was able to take us to locations with iconic vistas. Each day he provided us with practical tips to enhance our skill set to take beautiful photos, reviewed our shots and provided input. Marco also scouted out great restaurants for first group dinner and our lunches together. He worked hard to accommodate the varying needs and interests of our group, including arranging a wine tasting at a local winery. I also must add that the accommodations he arranged added to the overall experience. Agriturismo Valcelle is not to be missed.
I highly recommend Marco and can’t wait to work with him again.

Exceptional. Tour of a lifetime. Marco was outstanding both in his ability to teach his talent and skill and to share the beauty of Tuscany. Marco tailored our trip to suit what we were most keen to learn about taking memorable photos. He was ready to shift to different locations dependent on weather. We went to areas, towns and had experiences that we will never forget - sunsets over Tuscan fields, artistic pictures in ancient wine cellars and town scapes that looked like paintings. Having traveled through Italy for 3 months - Marco’s tour and time with him because he is just a really great person - was one of the best experiences we had. Highly recommended.

We have been on a private tour with Marco for 6 days during november 2022. I am a quite experienced wildlife photographer while my wife is quite new to photography. I have previously been on photo tours with different great companies but Marcos tour belongs definitely to the top. Thoroughly planned and executed tour. We have visited and photographed all famous places as well as places known only to locals. Marco is a great teacher and adjust his advice to individual needs. We learnt a lot about composition and light and are very much happy with our landscape and street photos. Besides photography Marco showed us great cities and villages where we visited restaurants with typical local dishes. We also got an opportunity to live in a farmhouse from 17-18th with great local wines and surroundings. All this coupled with Marcos humor and easy personality made our trip a great endeavour. On our way to home we even purchased a 4 hour long night photography tour in Rome with Marco which was simply great.

Marco is very knowledgeable about the Val d'Orcia area where you can find those iconic shot of Tuscany. He's been very patient with us, driving us around and finding those great locations. He knows the time of the day where we should be as we follow the light, but beyond those wonderful shot we also met a great friend. Definitely the highlights of our Italy trip.

Myself and another photographer wanted a 3 day photo tour in Tuscany. We found Marco via his website and arranging things was easy. Marco is a very experienced photographer with an extensive CV of publications and exhibitions. He has not been conducting tours for long and his launch prices are very reasonable. He agreed to have our wives come along for the ride at no extra cost. If you are thinking about it I would recommend booking soon as I'm sure he will become very popular. Marco takes the strain with the driving and taking you to the best photo locations depending on the time of day. He is very flexible on itineraries and, if you want, the days are long! I am a reasonably experienced amateur and Marco was able to help me further with aspects such as composition and difficult lighting situations. He was fun to be with and enjoys food so he will take you to good restaurants he knows if you want. He is passionate about his home area of Tuscany. I came away with a wealth of images of the amazing countryside and the lovely Tuscan villages.

Marco drove my husband and I around Val d’Orcia, where we spent 8 hours photographing amazing landscapes. He took us to the best shooting spots, where he shared with us photography principles required to make impactful photos. We were lucky to have the most incredible sunset, in an amazing location.
Marco easily adapted his coaching for my husband and I (me not being a photographer at all). He is professional and friendly. We truly enjoyed is company and the photography tips he provided. So much so that we also booked a 4-hour night tour in Rome with him, where we learned a lot about night time photography techniques.

Spent two weeks in amazing Tuscany. This tour was the crème de la crème of our Tuscan experiences. Marco was my hero, hands down. He was so knowledgeable , skilled, pleasant, accommodating , a true Tuscan knight. I shot some amazing photos that are awe- inspiring. It was a great experience. Marco knows Tuscany like a back of his hand, and can suggest how and where to take the best shots. Furthermore, he loves to share his vast knowledge about photography, which makes this tour especially valuable for enthusiasts, amateurs and professionals who stop in Tuscany.

I just completed a 4-day private photography tour with Marco and I can't write enough good things about it! I am a fairly experienced photographer, and with Marco's guidance, I really felt my skill level improved significantly. He planned diverse itineraries for each day - from across Val d'Orcia, to various areas of southern Tuscany - and I was able to photograph a variety of subjects - landscape, low light, travel, and street photography. He always knew where to go and what time to go for the absolute BEST photographs. Marco is super friendly, gracious and approachable. When you spend 8 hours a day for four days with a relative stranger, you're never sure how you'll pass the time. Marco immediately put me at ease the moment we met! I will definitely look to participate in another of his photography tours in the near future!
