Visited immediately after seeing the Virginia Historical Society as they are right next door. Great hands on area for kids and adults alike to draw and practice their artistic skills. Free admission

Variety of all kinds of relaxing music. Nice to fit on the lawn be the orchestra or play with the grand children about 100 yards away to not disturb all listeners

I recently visited the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for the first time. It was wonderful. The museum contained so many amazing exhibits… truly something for everyone’s tastes. We started our visit it with an early lunch at Amuse restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was delicious with just the right amount of seasoning for seafood. We are VMFA members and take full advantage of the Museum. For us that means visiting the wonderful exhibits such as the Jasper Johns & Edvard Munch currently showing, the museum Best Cafe, the great Amuse Restaurant to the Freeman Library.
