Took a church group on the cruise and everyone enjoyed it. Our tour guide was great and shared alot of history with us.

The ride was very educational, learned about the history of Virginia. Got to see the city from a different angle( groupon had buy 2 tickets for the price of 1) worth every dime

This is the best $6 we have spent. This 40 minute cruise on the Canal was a pleasant surprise. The driver /guide was knowledgeable, full of information. We were happy we had decided to do this canal "cruise".

Lousy experience. This is no "cruise". This is a boat ride, with a rapid narrative by a guide -that is too fast and not relevant to the sights. It was hot on the boat and the ride is definitely not what it claims to be. Nothing of importance to see on this cruise. Not worth wasting your time.

This could be the best kept secret in Richmond. Though not fancy this was an extremely interesting way to learn about the location of Richmond an its importance in regional commerce from founding to the modern era. The boat's pilot/tour guide, Cotton, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour is about 45 minutes long making it a great activity for families.... More

We were hesitant to do this but so glad we did! For $6 you get a view like no other, and some interesting info from a friendly tour guide. It's a 40 minute tour and definitely worth the money. Tip your tour guide at the end, they deserve it. Our boat had tourists, as well as a local on it... More

We stopped in Richmond on our way home from DC, and found this canal cruise on our walk on the waterfront. Very reasonable and the tour guide "Cotton" was so much fun and really knowledgeable. We learned so much about the Canal history and Richmond that we hope to make a trip to Richmond in the Future. If you have... More

The cruise down the canal isn't terribly exciting and not a lot to see. The cruise itself doesn't go far, just a slow leisurely pace up and down the canal - however if you are interested in history, the narrative provided by the captain would be good for you. It's pretty cheap, only $6 per person so if you are... More

We were a little disappointed with the length of time and actual things you see on this trip. We both thought we would see more old houses, buildings, etc. and hear a little more history about the town. On the positive side the guide was friendly and had a good presentation with what you did see. It was pretty hot... More
