This is a very well run, professional dive centre. My Italian is pretty much non-existent these days, but this was not a problem as most of the team spoke some English. I hired the full kit - wetsuit, bcd & reg set were all in excellent condition. I was lucky enough to only have one other 'guest' diver with me, so we had 2 dive guides and one divemaster escorting us for the trip, making it a very relaxing experience. I've been on dives before with multiple divers and they have always been slightly chaotic to say the least - based on the size of their rib, I think these guys usually do small group dives only. My dives were in Asinara national park, and started with a full brief (you'd be surprised how many centres don't do this), and I was pleased to see that off the rib they kept an extra tank of air at 5 metres, just in case (again, you'd be surprised how many dive trips I've been on where this has not been a consideration). And of course, the dives themselves were great- lots of life, great visibility, interesting topography and calm waters.

All in all I felt I was in very safe hands with a group of people who care passionately about their environment and obviously love to dive. The business side of things seems simply a 'bonus'. Special thanks to Paulo, Francesco (who was so kind even with the language barrier), Luca, Maro and Cinzia. You're a great bunch of people! Next time I come, I will conversing with you in Italian!

Dived with the guys many times and they are v professional & organized.

Their equipment is well maintained and the RIB they use is spacious & fast.

Located at Ancora minutes from the infamous La Pelosa Beach which you'll pass by on the way to most of their dive sites.

Ps...take note of the bi-weekly Mistrale winds which batter the westerly side of Asinara Island.

I want to leave a message of thank you to Asinara diving team and a review for visitors to Stintino. We spent the afternoon with Mauro and Francesco and the team at Asinara scuba diving. The format is perfect for an afternoon snorkelling in the protected national park Asinara (3 Hours)

We always do a few sessions snorkelling when visiting the coast and its always the people who make the difference. Our guide Maurizio was brilliant, he explained the details of the island while we were on the way there and while we were snorkelling his heart and soul was in the job. You could tell that he loves his job and wanted us to experience the best the location had to offer. He would not give in until he had caught by hand an octupus for us to study together and it was amazing to watch and see the octupus. He showed us the details of the octupus and let us stroke it and we saw it squirt and swim away. Mauro wanted us to see it change colour and we saw it change its colours before she hid away again in the rock holes.

Mauro picked up starfish, sea urcins and pointed out and named all the different fish. Top marks to Mauro and Francesco for there guidance and hospitality.

We will no doubt be back for another tour with them before the end of our holiday.

I recommend you go with this team.

We as father and son just did some dives in this pre season with Asinara Scuba Diving. The very nice and friendly team organized individual and flexible tours depending on weather.
Also always professional and good.
