We had a wonderfull day. I booked a 4x4 tour on Asinara with Anna Lisa from Asinar Avventura. Very good and friendly communication during the booking. On the day of the trip, everything was very well arranged. The guide met us on the boat. She explained everything very well what we were going to do that day. She spoke very good English, while she said, she didn’t. She knew much about the island and the animals. We could stop everywhere we wanted to take pictures. She was very patient and friendly. We saw a lot of donkeys and horses, we visited the prisons, the turtle rescue center and had 2 stops voor swimming on small beaches with clear water. I would definitely book again with this company!

Mid-April we visited Asinara with our two teenager boys. We booked the individual tour with Anna Lisa, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Anna Lisa is a highly committed guide with a pleasant personality and her knowledge about all aspects of the island is impressive. Crossing this unique island in a Landrover from the South to the North, she gave us many details about the history, wildlife, flora and geology of Asinara and took time to answer all our questions. Learning about the prisons and villages was very interesting. Nature and flowering in spring is incredibly beautiful. We met albino donkeys and wild horses and could make many photographs without disturbing them. As my husband is interested in birdwatching, Anna Lisa also focused on birdlife on the road and we visited the bird migration center. We were very lucky to have a chance encounter with a 'pernice di mare' (Glareola pratincola - collared pratincole - vorkstaartplevier), a rare and protected bird species. Just one regret: the turtle rescue center was closed during the time of our visit. Instead, we had a short break at Cala Sabina, a magnificent small beach, where it was even possible to go into the clear water on an average day in April. If we would visit Sardinia again, we would consider to participate at a hiking experience with Anna Lisa. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about this intriguing island. Thank you very much for all, dankjewel, Anna Lisa.

Firstly thank you to Anna Lisa for responding quickly to messages to ensure we got our trip organised at short notice - much appreciated! So much to see and learn and Anna Lisa was constantly sharing info with us in English and also in Italian for others in the group. We visited the turtle rescue centre (extra charge), 2 hours stop at a fabulous beach, with fish swimming round us, then a visit to one of the prisons before heading back. So many other stops on the way too, fabulous and well worth the money!

We took part in a nice daytime trip with Anna Lisa. She is quite well-knowledged in many ways about the island (history, envirolment, culture ) and kept to us a fascinating tour in English language. It took a whole day with a jeep to explore the half of this wonderful island, so I highly recommend not to try by foot if you go to a one-time visit there. The end of the trip we can swim in the sea in a beautiful beach of Asinara. Ennek több emlékhelye is fentmaradt a szigeten. Abszolút ajánlom ezt a kultúrális kikapcsolódást mindenkinek aki a környéken jár.

We booked with Anna Lisa based on other reviews and we must definitely agree: top excursion, we had a 4x4 (nostalgic Land Rover Defender) for our company of 6 (can take 7 or 8 people I think). The guide knows the island very well, drives carefully, her English is quite good. Possible to take stops wherever you want (photos etc) . Saw a lot of horses and donkeys, birds, visited one of the prisons, a pristine beach (due to high season, even her a lot of people :( ). Not cheap but certainly recommended!
