After seeing that spiaggia pelosetta was horribly crowded, we tried this one. It was empty but all covered by dead algae which is not a problem even when it didn't look like in the pictures.
But, the most important fact is that there is a port or a factory at the end of the beach and because of that, I doubt that the water would be clean.
Also, very accessible. If you want lonely (virgin) beaches, you have to look for the ones less accessible/commercial (without restaurants).

The beach is a long strip of white pebbles with various pirate spotting towers every now and then and salt-farms behind. The only reason, in my opinion, this is not a dream-beach are the mounds of dead posidonia (algae) on the shore and the fact that most of the historical buildings are not just in ruins(which would be ok) or restored (which would be better), but badly walled by recent but abandoned fences. Water is crystal clear and full of life. There is also a submerged stone pier. There are a couple of bars and beach resorts but most of the beach is free, which we enjoied very much.

This is was a very easy beach to park and access (which is always a plus).
It is a clearly salty area, hence the name and the peculiar smell, the water was with a typical crystal clear Water in a sandy beach. The beach in July was not overly busy, and it was nice to see and swim around a historical rock, which is makes a pretty unique beach. A must visit!

we went to this beach for a sunset swim. the salt plane was really beautiful, with all the colors of the sunset. we did not see flamencos, which was a pity. but the swim was really nice. clear water, perfect to see the fish with goggles.

Really long beach with little white rocks and a little sand. There is a lot of people on the beach but you can get a place. The view is really beautifull too.

This beach was quite a dissapointment for us, as it was very dirty. Sea grass is literally everywhere on the beach and also water is thus very unclear and doesn't look tempting at all. Also, it was very windy when we visited, which is usually nice in a hot weather, but here it was a bit too much. The problem of this area is that La Pelosa beach is way too crowded to enjoy it, so people are looking for more relaxed option. However, I am afraid this is not the right choice. Sardinia can offer so much more, so go elsewhere.

This beach is by far not as crowded as La Pelosa and quite nice. Parking is free. I suggest to drive to the very end of the beach, where there are less people.

Great beach, not too many people, friendly stuff. We came with friends & owners of the beach bar took great care of us. Nevertheless there are pebbles on the beach, there’s sand in the sea. It’s not too deep so should be great for kids & people who aren’t good swimmers.

When Pelosa got too crowded, we decided to visit a newrby beach hoping to find same water and sand. What a mistake... any other nearby beach is soo windy that only surfers and kiters can enjoy it, very dirty because of the sea grass, so i dont recommend it at all.

I just went to spend three days in Stintino and we discovered this amazing beach at only 10 minutes drive from stintino. The colour of the water was just sublime. despite the beginning of the high season we didn't find many people on this strip of beach where the locals are usually going. We definitely had a pleasant day in the sun havin drinks from the local kiosk.
