Texas Hill Country and LBJ Tour From San Antonio

103 reviews
Cowboys, music legends, and a former president are just a few of the historical characters featured in a full-day tour into Texas Hill Country. The extensive itinerary takes you to Lyndon B. Johnson's former home, followed by a scenic journey through wine country. Visit the historic German town of Fredericksburg, where you can dine at a typical biergarten, enjoy a wine tasting, or pick up souvenirs (all at own expense).

Wonderful! After 3 hours, we had to drag our 6 and 7 year old grandkids away. There is something for all ages and is very well done. Covid precautions were in place and the staff was so gracious.

Even better than expected. We stayed an hour longer than planned and all of us enjoyed it from 10 yrs old to 60. The Covid precautions were done well with limited visitors and gloves to use the hands on exhibits. It is not overwhelming like some 4 story places so it gave us time to linger at each display and learn from them.

We didn’t even know this place existed until we drove by! What a great little place with lots of fun, hands on exhibits for all ages. My 14, 12, and 9-year-old kids all had fun!

What a great place! For kids and adults alike. This is an old silo with its original floors and each silo houses a different exhibit. Outside were these amazing - and huge - South African turtles and lots of dirt for kids to dig around in, searching for dinosaur bones. The kids were loving the adventure. Inside were lots of interesting hands-on stations but we only had a limited time so didn’t get to see them all. This is a definite to go back to!

My wife and 2 grandkids, ages 7 & 10, went to Science Mill on Saturday 2/29/2020. Got there around 10:45. Was Not busy.... Made reservations for the 3D VR sea turtle ride. Excellent.. Kids loved it. Then on to all the exhibits. Our 10 year old boy loved building his own race car and racing it. Our 7 year old girl loved the outdoors, especially the building blocks, pendulum swings, and ball falling devices.. My wife and I really liked the outdoor water garden with the plants, fish and turtles. This place shows kids how things grow, come to be, work and good for the planet. Had a hard time getting the kids to leave when they shut down at 4:00
