About
We are open from May to September. In May we work as itinerant kite school on the beaches of is Solinas and Porto Pino. From June till September we are in the stunning beach of Porto Pino, where we have a authorized kite zone. In the school we offer the resturant, sun loungers, shower, storage. We offer kitesurf courses or lesson for all levels from beginners to advanced, kite camp, kite safari for expert riders, and equipment rental. we offer only private lesson or semiprivate lesson (2 students 1 instructor 1 kite). We use the radio helmet for all water lessons, so only in that way one hour of lesson is really one hour of real coaching! Kite Video Clinic System: we film your kite lesson. Checking the video with your instructor will be super easy to learn. The video feedback is an essential for a fast and easy learning. We use the video clinic for all lesson from water start to any advanced part. All instructors are IKO certified, Alex the owner is in the 8th place as most experienced IKO instructor in Italy. So we are the professional of kitesurf in Sardinia.

My boyfriend and I just finished a week of lessons with Alessandro and Lola, and we had a fantastic time! We had zero experience with kitesurfing before and I was kind of nervous before the first lesson. Both instructors explained everything so patiently and so carefully, adapted to our own paces, went various times through the safety rules that I managed to gain confidence and start enjoying kitesurfing. My boyfriend already managed to ride short distances on the second day, it took me a bit more to figure out the watetstart and still need practice. However, I felt safe at ALL times, both Alessandro and Lola were constantly close to us, helping, correcting, explaining in detail.
On the days without wind they organized a SUP trip on the coast. Overall they're both super kind, warm and patient.
We actually ended up extending our trip to squeeze in 2 more lessons, and I really wish to come back and keep practicing. Bonus - the lagoon where they do the lessons is the perfect place for beginners - calm waters lots of space. And Lola is very talented at taking pics as well! 🙂 warmly recommended!

Had lessons for 1 week for me and my kids and the experience was great. The spot is perfect to learn, very safe and often with the good wind conditions.
Alex and Lola are great teachers, very professional and helpful.
I truly recommend them if you wish to learn kite on Sardinia.

Hello everybody,
The kitespot in punte trettu is amazing for kite beginners. I managed to learn to kite in 3 days and the feeling was great. However, I would like to clarify that Scuola Kitesurf Sardegna does not have a kite surf school in punte trettu as indicated on the homepage www.kitesurfsardegna. And that I chose another school having a kit spot directly at the beach. We arrived to the beach and realized that there was no kiteschool at the beach, where you can shower, leave your equiupment and relax. So please be aware that when you book this course, that they have no school at the beach. I found it very misleading when visiting the homepage and reading the reviews.

We didn't have a booking therefore understand they could be booked out. However, did not expect such a grumpy attitude from Alessandro. Could simply have explained sorry we are fully booked. When asked if there were other places near by we got "don't know". Given how close not the Kite community is this is pretty unlikely. Don't know if got him on a bad day but felt he was rude enough that we would write this review.

sorry but what do you want from me? I told you we don't have classes available when we meet..and i've to prepare the boat for the lessons..i'm extremely busy and time is running fast. I was in my storage and I was setting up a foil board for the next lessons, and I was talking with my student about his previous mistakes...so you don't feel rude to interrupt us? and sorry why my student has to wait while I'm talking with you? do you think is nice that the students has to wait their lessons because we are talking with other people? i wish you all the best

I discover the School searching on Google. Then I contacted Alessandro and he replied me back after few minutes.

I paid a deposit through bank transfer to book a week of Kiteschool ( 10 hours) and then I paid just 9 hours of classes because the last day there was not enough wind for me. So you pay just the classes you do.

I landed in Cagliari Elmas. From the airport there is a train to Carbonia. The train costs less than 5 euros is very punctual, efficient and clean.
Once arrived in Carbonia Alessadro picked me up and brought me the apartment I shared with other "students" of the school.

Sardinian people are really nice. I was there in June the weather is good and life is easy going and very relaxing. Sardinian people are very friendly and willing to help you. I ate really a lot, therefore I would suggest you to plan a diet before going. Wine and fish are super cheap and very good quality

The spots where we had classes are very nice and have bathrooms and a bar. Water is very clean and warm. Alessandro and Lola are very good instructors and care a lot about safety so if one day you feel sick or the weather is not good they will not force you to have class. Equipment is good as well

I shared an apartment with other mates and we used to cook and spend the night together in Sant' Antioco where there are nice bars and where you can have a very good Spritz. In June the only club open is on Saturday and can be reached just by car.

I would suggest to extend your holiday to explore Sardina and visit other places because it is an amazing island. Leave some space in you bag to bring some food back with you such as Bottarga, local cheese and wine

The only negative point is the music in Alessandro's car. It is really bad, then please bring an USB with some good music!!!!

I was looking for a pre-season kiteboarding trip to gain confidence in open sea from May 1st to May 10th. I got in touch with Allessandro by email and he took care of everything. We headed every day to a different beautiful spot, depending on the wind conditions. The spots will please beginners to advance kiters. The equipment was of high quality and safety is what matters in the 1st place. In case of no wind you will have the chance to go for breathtaking SUP excursions. Accomodation is clean, quiet and well furnished and if you love mediteranean food, this is a good place to head to. Our stay was above expectations and my kite level greatly increased, going back next year in June for sure! Oli and Mae (Belgium)

I've just spent a week in Porto Pino... The nicest beach I have EVER been on, and had an incredible experience with Kitesurf Sardinian. A huge thank you to Graham, Lelya and Alex for looking after me, being patient and above all getting me to a standard where I now just need to practice, practice, practice.

One to one tuition is the only way in this sport and I've received 100% attention throughout. I've always felt safe but they have also given me the confidence to be on the water alone and always keep myself safe.

Kitesurfing is a great sport but can be dangerous when not taught properly. I did a lot of research finding the best school in Sardinia and I wasn't disappointed. 10 out of 10 for teaching, equipment and location.

I rented an apartment in Sant' Anna Arresi and was only 20 minutes from the beach (see my other reviews). Being so close is a big big bonus.

I'm hooked and that's thanks to a great kitesurf school and an amazing team.

Me and my girlfriend spended 1 week with the school doing the program "Zero to Hero".

All the instructors were good at kitesurfing and exelled at teaching.
The trip was very good for the kite classes and also for the ambiance the school offered.
Sant'Antioco is not a touristic place with a lot of things to do, but in the days that there was not enough wind to kitesurf the instructors would take us to different beaches and would show us the different restaurants we could go. The housing was also shared with other students from different parts of the world so after the classes we would often go to the local bar for a chat with drinks.

Great combination of kitesurf classes and a relaxing ambient for the vacations.

Planning the trip, our goal was to find a good place to start kitesurfing, not as touristy as porto pollo... We found alessandros kiteschool in the internet and emailed him, the communication was quick and very helpful. So we already had a good feeling before we arrived.

Punta Trettu is an amazing spot for beginners, but we also met advanced kitesurfers who totally enjoyed it. What makes you feel really confortable as a beginner i think is the shallow water and that there's absolutely no rocks or anything else you have to care about in the water, so you can fully concentrate on learning kitesurfing.

Since we were travelling as a couple we took semi-private lessons, but in general i'd recommend to take private lessons instead, it's worth it! Alessandro and Lelya were both excellent teachers. On the fourth day of practice we felt really confortable on the board and were able to ride independently.

To sum up, it was really a great experience! We learnt kitesurfing quickly at a perfect spot with great people! Thank you guys for making our stay perfect!
