Go prepared for a quite steep walk up an unmade/rough track. Travelled on very narrow and often unmade roads to get to a place we could park.

We saw Semaphoro on a distant hill and having failed to find a road to it, we parked near Capo Sperone and walked up a rough track to the top where we found our goal. It was in a bad state of repair and we had to scramble over debris to get in. We sat by the metal signal pole inside and ate croissants and drank orange juice. The views were superb and we loved the old building. It was well worth the climb and a fabulous place to have breakfast. Maybe not ideal for young children or people with disabilities but great fun if you can climb in without falling down the hole in the entrance!
