Gorgeous long bay with fine sand and beautiful clear waters. The Sa Colonia Beach Club also comes highly recommended and well worth the price for sunbeds with friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, a lovely aesthetic and great attention to detail.
We look forward to coming back 🤗

Very nice wild beach with strong currents. If you want less rough water go left at the entrance to the beach, near the tower, if you want to rent umbrellas and deckchairs and have a small restaurant (sandwiches, ice cream, drinks), go right. For the brave, take some good shoes and climb up to the tower for a splendid panorama.

We visited this place today.the beach is stunning but the manager is awful, arrogant and he clearly care only to overcharge people, claiming the service has a cost.
I still haven’t understand which is the service this person give to customers more than get the money and point out where the chair is.
Moreover the local council love doing traps for tourists with parking indicators.
To all read this reviews stay away from this place.

Never ever again!

Sa Colonia Beach - longer and Umbrella Hire
I went to hire out two loungers and an umbrella . I paid 40 euros to sit at the front . Quite expensive, as I have a great deal of experience of Italian beaches. However, the man who owns the beach and who I paid was extremely rude and insulting from the start even though I spoke to him in Italian . Just because I had my two brothers with me he immediately thought I was trying to con him out of buying another set of longer and umbrella. They had only come to have a coffee with me and were then returning to our villa. I thought this was terrible and 4 loungers were being put out . I kept explaining I only wanted two. He was continuing to be extremely rude and insulting . I had made my requests quite clear, why think I am going to have 4 of us on two loungers. There is no need for his rudeness and I have never been spoken to like that in mainland Italy before. His facilities were rubbish especially if you needed the toilet it was a porta cabin about 200 yards away . When I asked they told me the toilet was in the car park. I wasn't spending that amount of money to pee in a portable cabin with no where to wash your hands. I stayed until 12 then left . His rudeness put a bad taste in my mouth and the facilities were far from good. Spend your money elsewhere. The beach is lovely but the hiring of chairs etc was awful - NO need for rudeness.

The beach seems nice but the kiosk ‘sa colonia’ in the middle completely ruined the experience. 30euros for two sun beds is bad enough (its 15 in Poetto, and 18 in Costa Rei) but then having to pay to use the toilets on top is adding insult to injury. The incredibly rude proprietor basically shrugged and told us to do one. Coffee comes from a machine, sandwiches from a packet. Best to avoid.

The is not much to say. Beautiful water, nice soft sand, no crowds and facilities such as washrooms and a snack bar. A great place to read a book, listen to the waves and have a nap. In mid-May the water is freezing but you can force a swim in.

sa colonia beach is the first of four beaches on the costa del sud , which are strung together like pearls on a chain. the other ones named monte gogoni, campana dune and campana.
sa colonia beach is a big whide beach with a typical lagoon in the back in which flamingos nisting.
the beach is well sign posted and we arrived there in an hot and sunny afternoon and there were not so many vivitors around as we thought. the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. the water was crystalclear and offered every type of blue and we had a lot of fun to swim and splash there.
there are no natural shadow zones at the beach and it is absolutely neccessary to have a parasol an sun protection in the beach luggage. there are two beachbars on the area, about the prices we cannot give any information.
we can recomment sa colonia beach very much. we had a perfect stay there.

This lovely beach was within walking distance of our hotel. In April, we had it entirely to ourselves. The sand is lovely and the scenery spectacular. A path leads from the beach through wildflowers and scrub up to the Spanish watchtower on a hill overlooking the beach. It is a perfect location for a romantic stroll. On the other side of the hill is yet another beach, and one can see the ruins of the Phoenician city of Bithia below the tower on the far side of the hill. Worth a visit!

White sand, crystal clear water and very few tourists. Perfect spot for small children to play around ... shallow water. Small beaches and coves nearby in walking distance...just beautiful. Highly recommended.
