This was a good choice since we had visited the trolley museum in Scranton-this museum was a perfect complement during this trip. Not overwhelming and just the right amount of time spent-1 hour.

We visited while waiting for the quilt museum to open and were not disappointed. It is a small museum but packed with information and some very evocative old photographs. Reading about the development of the streetcars and the effects on society was fascinating - I just wish they had a little booklet to buy containing the information as it is... More

Came to Lowell on a day off to check out their Streetcar Museum. Even though the museum was closed, they were running their open air street cars, which was great. We had a nice ride up the tracks to the end of the line, but the experienced an issue, so they sent out their other open air car. The staff... More

Great inside tour of the streetcar along with many old pictures and items located downtown. Check on hours and days that it is open.

Behind there is parking on the cobbled streets - very nice. The entrance fee for adults is 3$ and for children above 3... More

Very small, good for children under 10, lots of information for adults about transportation in Lowell MA but be ready to read. Small fee, some might feel it is not worth it though.
