Lovely beach but will be crowded
Aug 2019 • Family
We visited a lot of beaches in Sardinia and while there are lots and lots of wonderful beaches in the north-east and east, this was the best beach we visited in the west. It is quite small and gets crowded despite the reasonably steep climb up/down but the swimming/snorkeling is great even then.

A Hidden Beach
Apr 2017
You have to try hard to find this little beach which is situated just off the windy road from Bosa to Alghero and accessed by scrambling down a path - but once you get there it is well worth the find.

The best in winter - also great hike from there
Nov 2016 • Friends
this beach is a little paradise. Transparent water and nice rocks around. Be aware that it takes 10 minutes to climb down hill and back uphill from the road. It is very crowded in summer. Much better in low season. The climate is perfect for off-season beach life. I did a wondeful swim in November!!! This can also be the starting point of one of best hikes/trekkings on this part of the island. The rocky coast is amazingly beautiful, with colours and shapes that is hard to imagine. Don't miss it if you are in Sardinia.

Excellent water quality, but can get very crowded in high season
Jul 2016
Be prepared for a 10-15minute hike from the street level down to the beach section, which really is rather tiny.
The water itself I experienced to be refreshlingly cooler compared to other Sardinian beaches I had experienced.
This is a nature beach, so whatever you'll need, you'll have to bring along. Most importantly a sun umbrella because the sun seems to be even stronger in that little bay, heating up the Sand and surroundings.
Was it nice, yes. But for us a 2-3hour visit was more than enough.

Lovely day out
Jul 2016 • Family
Great day out on lovely beach set in a small cove albeit with rather difficult access. Lovely swimming and snorkling in the lovely fresh water. Saw fishes and crabs underwater wearing only basic swimming goggles. Quintessential Sardinia at its best.

Get there early and enjoy your private cove
Aug 2015 • Couples
Amazing clear water, soft sand surrounded by cliffs that you can dive from. Gets pretty crowded by noon but the first 2 hours were an absolute bless. If you walk around the cliffs you will se some spectacular stone formations, shaped by time. We took the bus from the city of Bosa, approx. 30 min ride. Then you walk down to the beach by climbing and navigating through some bushes. You need to pack lunch and a lot of water because it gets really warm and there is no where to buy food.

So beautiful, not too busy
Sep 2015 • Couples
We decided to stop and have a look, only because we were advised to. The erosion has left its marks here. Really beautiful cliffs/rocks. Brief but steep downhill climb to reach the primary beach. It wasn't too busy these. It was likely high tide and we could walk/climb around do to the right hand side to view the next beach. Nice and quiet and very beautiful.

Always far too busy
Aug 2015 • Family
This tiny and pretty beach is always packed with people. It's a fairly steep climb down which you think might make it secluded but it doesn't. You really will be within touching distance of your neighbor on the beach. In the water if you swim out 50m or so you might be alone until the motor boats weigh anchor and you get a mouthful of engine smoke.

A little paradise beach near Bosa!
Jun 2015 • Couples
This is the prettiest little beach, very different from the more rocky beaches nearby. It has fine smooth sand and crystal clear water. It is not very big, the best time to visit if you want to make sure there is space for your towel is earlier in the morning, though we visited in late June and there were spaces on the beach in the afternoon as well. The way to find it is by driving on the road to Alghero from Bosa, you pass the signs for S'Abba beach and after about a further 1 kilometer you will find the parking for it on the left, it has reddish paving stones. There is a sign at the end of the car park with the name of the beach and the path down to the beach starts behind the sign, it is about 5 to 10 minutes walk to get to the beach.
