An unexpected pleasure. Two nights in Sirolo and a visit to loreto and we’re sold. A great area to visit in so many ways... wish we’d known and we would have stayed longer. There’s always next year!

In this beautiful place of nature walks and peace.
..dogs are not allowed.
Disgraceful! !
Dogs are travelling friends and do not disturb .
Very often are better than children

Parco del Conero offers unrivaled lush green surroundings combined with very nice beaches with clear blue waters. Though the area is very popular and as such somewhat over crowded during the summer peak, one can always find a quiet spot to relax or take a walk. For popular restaurants and for beaches please make sure to book in advance to secure a good spot ( and in case of the latter save money in the mean time).

The path n. 2, as it appears on guidebooks, starts from Sirolo cemetery, reaches the "Passo del Lupo" (Wolf Pass), then drops steeply down to the beach so-called "Le due sorelle" (Two Sisters), which alludes to two white and sharp rocks, very similar, which are located by the sea, in one of the most scenic coast's locations.
Being by car, we have not properly identified the starting point; but we anyway ended up the path, we have traveled up to the "Passo del Lupo". We were not going to go any further, because the following path is described as difficult, equipped as "via ferrata", so not suitable for some of us, who suffer from fear of heights.
But even so (less than two hours round trip), the route was exciting. After the first section, where also the cars run (so a little annoying), the road turns to trail, then to path, with unobstructed views towards the coast south of the Monte Conero and the Sirolo village.
Finally, at the "Passo del Lupo" the view is overhanging on the rocks and the beach of "Le due sorelle"
Certainly in the area there are other scenic paths; but we have experienced this one, and we highly recommend it.
And if you have time and ability to walk also down the via ferrata, the enjoyment will - I guess - be even higher.

We took the trail from the Hotel towards 'due Sorelle', and the experience was great! Very nice scenery over the clear blue sea and the paths were in quite good condition for a walk even in sandals. 1 1/2 year aged packed in the 'Manduca' on my back and 8 & 10 year old did the trail perfectly by foot. We took only a 90 minute walk but it was great. Free parking between 12.30-15.30 in front of the hotel gates.

We imagined this park was beautiful, judging by the photos. Unfortunately, it is unreachable unless you dedicate a lot of time to it. You can reach the Two Sisters rocky formation on the sea by boat only, they leave you there and pick you up a few hours later. No water or protection from the sun, of course. We could not find a boat trip that would let you see these beautiful rocky shore in an hour or so, it is only exploited as an unreachable beach. A pitty.

We went to this park for hiking. And since it was Easter many people were around but it was definitely less crowded on the trails than around the hotel and the restaurant at the top. The view is breathtaking and there is a number of hiking routes varying in difficulty and length.

Great relaxing place to unwind. The view is spectacular, especially from the little bar at the top. We stumbled across it by accident whilst on the way down to the beach, but be aware, parking in summer months would be horrific
