Saw "It's a wonderful life " here. Perfect theatre for it . It's smiled with a balcony section - no bad seats in orchestra or balcony seating ! A small bar offering drafts and bottled beer, wine, soft drinks, some snacks ( mostly popcorn ) all allowed in theatre ! Right in Harvard Square close to restaurant , bars, nightlife.... More

Amazing place, really neat place to see films there! We went to see "we have not forgotten Cambodia Rock and Roll." And it was a really neat film and a part of history we never really thought of. The theater also gave it a very nice atmosphere to watch it. I can't wait to go back

I love the Brattle and I love seeing the old films on the big screen. yesterday we went to the Brattle for the annual Valentines Day showing of Casablanca - my favorite film. I have seen it more then 25 times - about half of those at the Brattle. The theater has been refurbished. The film was an old 35... More

I would give this a 5 stars if they could get some newer movies here and picked better music to play before hand (they always have such annoying tunes playing...really tests my serenity). This is a nonprofit so all support helps them!

This is a lovely old venue, rather tired and worn, but it hosts some of the best speakers through Harvard bookstore, plays, and other events. It's beloved in Cambridge. Its always worth checking out what is on at The Brattle.

It is evident that this theater exudes charm which is reminiscent of old school movie theaters. Brattle theater caters to serious film enthusiasts. You can relive the classics with the theater's amazing film selection.

The brattle has a personality and charm that the mainstream movie theaters lack. Location is also a plus

I went to the Brattle Theatre for the Burt Lancaster tribute and was pleasantly surprised to see an old moviehouse in excellent condition. The theatre is independently owned and the film selection is awesome. I recommend this place for serious moviegoers interested in film history and for anyone who enjoys good films.
