The Harvard Bookstore, its staff, and loyal customers have worked tirelessly over the years to maintain and support and keep relevant, one of the now iconic establishments in Harvard Square. This is the best place to duck into when it is raining or cold. Warm yourself, dry off a bit, or cool off on a muggy day in the "dog... More

Sadly, the once dozen bookstores in Harvard Square has dwindled to two or three, but happily one of the survivors is the best of them all, Harvard Bookstore. They have a fantastic collection of books, leaning toward books from the academic presses, though there is a good selection of mainstream titles also. The staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful.... More

This is my favorite bookshop in Harvard Square...there used to be so many bookstores here but...well you know what happened. Harvard Book Store is an independent and welcoming presence. Books galore, a very helpful and experienced staff. Special events like author talks and signings and midnight releases of the latest Harry Potter story....but basically a haven for browsers and buyers.... More

I did the tour in Harvard University and when walking around the campus, I found this bookstore. In reality, I'm from the west coast and taking a short vacation in Cambridge. The selection of books is immense and a very wide variety of titles. I wish I lived close by here so I can visit this place every week. I... More

A charming and inviting bookstore near Harvard Square. The main floor has a wide selection of books and some cool stationery and postcards. My favorite part is the remainders section downstairs, though, with its old wooden shelves full of stickers and its cheap books in near to perfect condition. An INFP paradise.
