Chartered the HENRY Longfellow for a corporate group and it couldn't have been any better. Departed from Cambridge and sailed to Harvard, turned back toward Boston Harbor and got to experience the lock that allows you to go from the river to the harbor. Sailed over to Del Friscos where we were dropped off for dinner. The weather was gorgeous,... More

We loved the cruise we took with this group looking at the architectural sights on the Charles River and in the Boston Harbor. We lucked out with perfect weather which added to the pleasure of being out on the water. The narration was interesting (done by someone from Boston On Foot ) and we learned a lot - we used... More

We took the architecture tour! Guide was very knowledgeable. He was from Boston by Foot company. A Volunteer, so tip him well! We went to the seaport area and back though the lock. We saw North End, TD Garden, Charlestown, Fed Courthouse, Vertex, GE coming, Customs house, and a little bit of the back bay and Beacon Hill....we will return!

Took advantage of the nice weather and took a boat ride with Charles Riverboat Company. Easy to find, plenty of parking. The commentator had very interesting stories and It was fun to see M.I.T. and Harvard from the water side. I sat in the bow and it was hard to hear everything the commentator said, so I moved back a... More

We got to see another side of this area, from the water. We passed under bridges, by boathouses of the universities with their teams already practicing, and viewing many historical sites in the distance. This was included with our trolley ticket. We had a choice of two waterway cruises. Glad we chose this one. I recommend this!

We had hoped for a cruise with great sunset photo ops, but a deflated hurricane intervened. It was a relaxing trip along the Charles up to Harvard Square with wonderful views of both the Cambridge and Boston skylines. Boat has a canopy for those who did not want to enjoy the rain sprinkles. There was a cash bar and rest... More

First of all, it was an incredibly beautiful day in Boston, so what's not to enjoy in a boat on the Charles River! It was a lovely boat ride and gave a perfect overview of the city from a new vantage point I had never experienced. I think it is a bit of a misnomer to call it an "architecture... More

Took the architectural tour. Guide was knowledgeable and tour was very enjoyable. Couldn't be better for a hot summer day, the breeze and open water was exactly what's needed.

My sister and I booked the "Charles I" for a catered party of 50 for my parents golden anniversary. Melissa Otis from Admin helped us coordinate the 3 hour event and worked up several options within our budget. The DJ's name Martika Michelle and she works with the boat company on events; brought her own sound system and had all... More
