It was a little disappointing to arrive at a tour which had already been rearranged by the people running it to find the new time we had been given was also not running and was delayed by another hour.
However once we got started Elizabeth our tour guide made up for this totally with a wonderfully interesting tour mixing lots of information with a lot of humour.
On another particularly nice day she kept the whole group interested !

We wanted to explore this gorgeous campus and glance at students' lives on campus as well as learn about Harvard's history. We knew our kids would not be interested in a tedious history lesson. Our tour guide Franny was lots of fun, witty, made lots of corny jokes but also knew Harvard history. She effortlessly answered everyone's questions. This tour was exactly what we were looking for. Our only disappointment is that the tour is entirely outside, we were hoping to be able to enter at least one of the buildings.

We loved this tour on the beautiful grounds of Hahvahd recently! Learned so many interesting details we otherwise would never have known. Our guide, John (current student at Harvard), was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, fun and answered all questions the group had. John, you have a very bright future ahead. All the best to you!

The tour was ok. Our tour guide did a great job but it really just felt like a tour any new student would get when coming to campus. There was some history and a little humor but I was expecting a lot more. A lot of time was spent showing us the outside of the residence halls which was of no entrance to me. You don’t actually enter the campus but just walk the perimeter. I think you’d be better getting a map and walking thru the campus on your own

Great tour of Harvard campus. Our guide Primo was very knowledgeable and spoke a very clear English, which we really appreciated, being non native English speakers.
He was also engaging and eager to answer our questions.
Overall I recommend choosing this tour!

A great way of exploring these amazing grounds. Freshman Roddy is about to embark on a great journey. Initiated, knowledgeable and personable in a great mix. Makes you want to be än undergrad again.

We met up at the front of Harvard Yard. We were fifteen minutes early, so we strolled around, heading to Harvard Yard, only to find out it was closed due to reunion parties for the alumni, which occurs every 5 years. Once the time was up, we went to the front. Our tour guide was Molly, who gave us sweet tidbits of information about the history and happenings about Harvard. She showed us what the Harvard curse was, described the dining hall, told the story about their expansive library, and told us Harvard’s screaming tradition before exams.
At the end, she left us at the student-run gift shop. Molly was a fantastic tour guide. The tour was wonderful, and it was filled with fascinated faces, small laughter, and dozens of pictures. It was slightly raining, drizzling, so be sure to bring an umbrella or raincoat. Overall, it was a fantastic tour.

I took this tour to kill an afternoon while here with a conference. It looked like fun…cute girls in cut off t-shirts…amateurish but fun, and supposedly led by Harvard students as well, so I took the tour.

What a waste of time. Stupid jokes. Dull history. It sounded like the guide was reading from cue cards…and God forbid you should ask a question that was off script!

I found out later that several of the "students" on the student tour were not students at Harvard at all, but were either graduates or went to another school (our guide admitted it when I asked her some specific questions about scheduling at the school).

I don’t like being lied to. I don’t like bad stories. I especially don’t like the way they try and shake you down at the end of the tour for money. One of the things that attracted me to this tour in the first place was a brochure that said “free tour” on it. At the end I was told the tour had been free to join but we were expected (expected!) to pay since I went on the whole thing.

I had planned on leaving a generous tip, but honestly, if your company is going to try and shake me down, you won’t get anything. I walked away disgusted and left nothing. More people should do this. This amateur hour has to go.

Harvard offers free tours hourly. The tour guide welcomed us to join and never told us this was a private company and that there would be a charge. He was dressed in Harvard hat,t shirt etc. We thought this was a free tour.At the end of the tour, the tour guide says the fee is $ 20.00 per family, $10.00 per person. What a dishonest way to do business!!!
