Businesses were frequently "about to close", so we usually felt rushed. Due to a nut allergy we were served Yorke peppermint patty chunks. For price of one ticket, I think that we could have purchased the same quantities for our family of 3.

Thank you for your review, but we are confused by your comments which are inaccurate. The tour is 90 minutes, but we stopped for samples at 5 places with your group plus an additional stop to do a chocolate bar and cacao bean tasting. We take allergies very seriously so made sure to accurately address the seriousness of a peanut allergy. You received the cacao tasting, cacao juice, ice cream, hot chocolate, gourmet cookies, chocolate balsamic vinegar, chocolate salt with strawberries, fudge, white chocolate, ruby chocolate, and a rich chocolate truffle which is often too many samples for some of our guests to enjoy. You learned about the history of Harvard Square and of chocolate. Please email us to explain further as we don't understand your comments and strive to provide the best guest experience possible for all of our guests, especially those with allergies. Thanks for taking our tour!

From the description, I thought we would be going to see chocolate shops, maybe coffee shops with unusual hot chocolate flavors, etc. I was surprised and disappointed to find the places we went were not even close. Off the beaten path for sure, but a bagel shop with brownies? a kiosk-type store in a student union? Definitely not worth what we paid for it. There was really only one stop on the tour that I thought was what I expected for the tour.

We visit the best Harvard Square has to offer, including off the beaten path destinations and small businesses! We also educate on the history of chocolate from bean to bar. Thanks for joining us!

Guide was knowledgeable, but I frankly expected more. We only did a few stops where the offerings were small and not that original. Pace was off - we could have done more if there wasn't so much time alloted for shopping and sitting.

Please email us with more details, we are surprised by your comments as there's typically more chocolate than a guest can eat and we don't have time to sit too long!

This was a fun tour that had interesting information about chocolate and Harvard Square. It was very easy to find Courtney, our tour guide, and the group at the meeting area. The directions were very clear. The tour group was a good size - about ten people - and fans of chocolate to one degree or another. The samples of cocoa beans and cocoa juice were very interesting, and the samples from the many shops through town were delicious.

We had a great time exploring Harvard Square on the Chocolate Tour! Even on a rainy night, our tour guide kept us engaged and satiated as we chocolate shop hopped around the area. Fun evening out for with family or friends!
