This part of the lake is probably less "touristy". Overall the lake is clean but the areas on the sand need some attention. There are some activities where you can rent pedalo for around €10 for an hour. The kids love it you can swim with the ducks and the swans.

Once we were done visiting the castello we went all the way down in direction of the lake. It is almost 30 mins walk if you walk with the cars way or there is a short cut but really steep so you better be careful. The scenery of the lake is really beautiful but if you are not there for... More

Very quitte for the time of the year. A Nice place to go when you want to escape the crowdy Rome. The water is unbelievable clean and clear There are no boots or any other motorized vessel, so no pollution. The sand of the beach is black. So as soon as the sun starts to shine, the sand get intolerably... More

The lake is a real beauty. We were so glad so find a sandy beach allowing us to swim in the shallow calm crystal clear water. But we were disgusted to find zillions of cigarette butts and other elements that belong to a trash and not a beach.

Bracciano is a lovely, old, small town. Not many people speak English, but sign-language goes a long way and everyone we met showed us kindness and courtesy. Cars even stop for you to cross the road - even if you are not near a pedestrian crossing! The cafes are plentiful and we ate at a variety of small eateries. As... More

This lake is close to Rome. In amd of itself not worth the visit but if you include the castle the kids and adults will thank you.

The lake is about 200 km away from Rome; a romantic lake in a dreaming country, the locality Bracciano is also like that; There are little sandy beach on more place around the lake; At 4 oclock you can take a boat to make a trip for 1 or 2 hours on the lake or to go to an other... More
