More
The Castello di Bracciano - a stone's throw from Rome - is one of the most impressive castles in Italy, Europe and the world. Completed in 1485 by the Orsini family, around an existing 12th century Vico fortress, it is one of the few renaissance castles in Italy that - thanks to the Odescalchi family - is open to the public. It also plays host to numerous weddings, galas and important cultural events throughout the year.

Beautiful Castle with amazing views of the town and the lake. We walked around at our own leisure, no guide and found it very interesting and well maintained. Very easy to get to using local train service.

We are staying in Bracciano and the castle is the guardian of the town. It is the dominant feature. It is an interesting area to spend an hour. It has many rooms and the leaflet with your entry fee gives you enough information.. You make...More

We did the English-speaking tour which is included in the price. The guide was OK on her script but seemed unable to answer on anything else. It was also a bit disappointing that the video on the armoury couldn't have been dubbed or subtitled from...More

Great price for all you get to see. Stunning views of the city and lake. The little gift shop has cute things to buy for memoirbila and there very resonant priced. We spent 1.5hrs there and loved every minute. Highly recommended! !

Took a trip out by train from Rome. Worth the hour journey from Rome San Pietro station. Great views across the lake and very interesting self guided tour round this beautiful castle. The town is also worth a look round with its quaint streets.

Beautiful place for a day trip from cruise ship, it was very hot day. Very uneven steps so not suitable for immobile. Not much to see inside castle but the views are lovely.

Came here with my husband and 2 kids age 8 and 11. It's a beautiful castle and well worth the visit, it cost €29 for 4 of us and we went through it all in approx 45 mins. A little cafe would have been a...More

You will find out what it is like to go back 700 years. Castle is fully intact and spectacular views of town and the lake below. It's lively with tours and wedding receptions. It's a not miss if visiting Bracciano.

This is a stunning location (and only €6 return from Rome). The Castle looks amazing from the outside and is very intact and is like a fairytale castle perched on the edge of a mountain. Inside it is quite sparse but what is inside is...More
