We feel very lucky to have seen a big well manicured garden with beautiful trees, plants and flowers. There are also animals and would you believe chicken villas. The fact that these was where the popes stroll and stay during summer makes one feel so...More

Unfortunately the view out of the small bus was appalling. The plastic windows were scratched and the frame of the window blocked views from the isle seat. The clarity was obscured with the sun and the grandeur of the gardens was not in existence. The...More

Unlike other reviewers we had a marvelous tour with an open air vehicle. Our guide made several stops along the way to describe areas. We were able to walk certain areas. This was part of our tour package.

These are the papal gardens behind the high walls that surround Castel Gandolfo. The tour is informative, and the scenery lovely. Book in advance as places are limited, and this is the reason why everyone comes to this town.
