Wonderful place with lots of waterfalls, one that you can walk behind but be prepared to get wet and ine behind a little canyon with lots of folk tales attached. The lava field opposite is extraordinary. There is a second car park further down the road on the right which is free.

Some of the most beautiful waterfalls you will ever see. Very much like Niagara Falls. Beautiful time to to see the falls because of half of them being iced over. Many different viewpoints. Big restaurant in souvenir shop. You have to pay for the bathroom. You will not be disappointed!

If you get off the ring road, you will see much smaller crowds. This waterfall is easy to see with minimal walking. There is an easy climb next to it with some steps. There is off road parking near the base but no restrooms.

This is a very striking and large waterfall. It is not the tallest, but seems to have the most powerful water. It has multiple levels and is easy to visit. Unfortunately this also one of the big tourist stops on day trips from Reykjavik.

Make a point of stopping and jumping out of the car, for a quick visit. Climb up the side and look down across an awesome plain.
