The Blue Lagoon is fantastic. It is a great experience to be inside it, but the attitude of some staff before you get into there is not appropriate. Some other reviewers noted as well poor institutions. Once you get to the changing rooms, a person stops you quite rudely telling you to take your shoes off and leave them. I... More

This was our first time and I can honestly say I'd love to fly to Iceland just to sit in this pool once per month! A couple things-dinner does not come with the Premium package only a table and champagne-1 glass. Good and service was excellent but you can save $ by buying a general admission. Everyone gets silica and... More

What an experience! Absolutely loved it! The water was unbelievably perfect at 39C, give or take a bit. The free silica face mask made my skin so soft and of course being able to swim up to the bar for a drink felt very decadent! We went at 8.30pm which meant we were in the water as the sun went... Blue Lagoon had to be one of the most surreal places I have ever visited. I was here in early spring, so it was still pretty cold outside. It didn't make a difference at the lagoon because the water is so warm. The water felt wonderful and so did the steam from it. There is also a place where you... More

We went to the blue lagoon towards the end of our week in Iceland after traveling the ring road. Its a tourist attraction yes, but its worth doing. They are now reservation only so you have to book ahead of time, which is a good thing as it keeps the maximum capacity of the crowds down a little. I would... More

Nothing could quite prepare me for this once-in-a-lifetime experience at Iceland's Natural World Wonder. Despite hearing stories and doing pre-reading, nothing could quite prepare me for this incredible activity. We upgraded to the premium package, which is a superb value if you plan to dine at the delicious, Lava restaurant because it includes a glass of bubbly. We were fortunate... More

It's understandable why the Blue Lagoon was named a wonder of the world by National Geographic. It's surreal to be there and unlike anything you'll ever experience. My recommendation is to do it when you first arrive from the airport or your last day when you are going to leave. It is much closer to the airport than Reykjavik is,... More

This is a by product of the geothermal plant in Iceland. Brilliant. Yes, it is crowded. But fun. Six of us went, you get your towel and robe (if you have purchased the upgraded package) and your first drink "free", then you walk into one of many hot pools, try a mud mask and enjoy the soothing water. If you... More

Fun relaxing spa, with out of this world landscape surrounding. The spa was huge and did not feel crowded. Silica mask to make your skin feel smooth and soft.
