We offer horseback riding experience from an hours tour to longer trekking tours. Our horse trips can be suited for all riders, beginners to experienced ones who would like to go riding in iceland. Sydra-Langholt is situated in Hrunamannahreppur, 50 km from Selfoss.

We booked a one-hour tour with our 3 children (16, 14, 10). It was an amazing experience across a beautiful landscape. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and lovely. The horses were gentle and well trained.

Absolutely. Do the short trip. Have loose reins, steer gently and relax. They will give you a quiet horse. If the group wants to tolt, trot, you just relax, you bounce more in the saddle. Most trail rides go the speed of the... More
