Very nice little museum that tells a story about an important piece of history that most Americans know little about. Definitely worth seeing. There are two things I would suggest, however. #1. There is a satellite photo that shows South Korea with all the lights and North Korea completely black. There is an important point to be made here, yet... More

The guy at the desk will tell you to start on the left, and by the time you get to the other side, you will have a very good understanding of the causes, the war itself,, and the aftermath. The displays are very well written and understandable and there are the expected artifacts. I know more than most people about... More

Free. Museum is within walking distance of all Lincoln related sites. Exceptionally clean and organized starting with events leading up to war through current events. Halfway point there is an activity area for kids to play war and dress up. We had kids 4,7, 14 so good for younger ones to keep them interested. Artwork and displays are top notch.... More

There are lots of photos, and chronological history all over this museum. It is located down town just across from the Old State Capitol. Their programs on Sunday afternoons bring in speakers who open new light onto the Korean War from both sides. It is well organized and well presented.

The museum was very small, but the displays were interesting for the war buff in the family. A nice place to visit. Took about an hour to go through.

If you are in the area and have time, this something to visit. It only takes about 1/2 hour to go through. In the same plaza as the Old State Capitol Building. It isn't a large memorial, but would recommend to see it if you are already at the Lincoln Memorial or Old State Capitol. Free of charge, but donations... More

Interesting place. You can read about the history, watch a movie & look at the artifacts. They even have a hands-on area for the kids (or kids at heart) where you can put on helmets and pick up the phones. Only took about an hour to go through in detail.

My husband, a Korean Vet, enjoyed looking at all the artifacts and picture displays, but I couldn't tolerate the dusty smell that was evident the minute I walked in. I did a quick walk through and waited outside. He saw it all in a quick 30 min tour.

I grew up watching M*A*S*H, but never actually studied the Korean War. This museum is very well thought-out and presented. Small enough to make it manageable and allow the information to sink in, but large enough to really do a nice job. And talk about a child-friendly museum, this is it! Our children are all grown, but I was quite... More
