We just returned from Springfield, having done the Lincoln Experience with Garrett. What a great tour! The tour caught out eye when we were looking fo something to do in Springfield, and we ended up working our trip around this tour.We were a group of 8, ranging in age from 3 to adult. Garett met us at the Lincoln Law... More

This is a walking tour around the historic district that offers stories of Lincoln. Not really too terrifying, but very interesting nonetheless. The best part was walking on the street by Lincoln's house at dusk. This was a totally different feel than walking around the neighborhood during the day. Tickets are a little pricey ($15), but worth it. Our tour... More

This was our first walking tour and my husband found the website while searching for things to do in Springfield. We were arriving Friday evening and wanted something entertaining for the kids too (ages 10,13). We met at the Lincoln Law Office to start the tour, I would say there were probably at least 20 others, adults, families there too.... More

I planned a trip for a local Jefferson City organization to SPRINGFIELD, IL called ALL THINGS LINCOLN. There were 34 of us (all about 60 +). Saw where a evening tour of areas associated with Lincoln was available. This tour looked great, so I made reservations. 24 of the 34 decided to go on the tour (it had been a... More

Garret Moffett picked my husband and I up this morning for a half day tour. It was worth every penny. He tailored the tour to our interests. He is so knowledgeable on Lincoln History--he can answer anything you want to know about. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Springfield Walks.

2 adults...we went on this tour looking for something other than the bar scene with no real expectations..nothing spooky or strange about this tour...just another Abe Lincoln tour but at night..some of the locations had a little to much "questionable" foot traffic at night making us a little sketchy of our surroundings. Not really worth the money..

This was the first time anyone in our group had done a walking ghost tour, so we were not sure what to expect. The guide was very friendly; however, he was far too soft spoken and we had trouble hearing him above the noisy traffic. The stories he told about Springfield were very interesting, and we were able to go... More

We "stumbled" upon this great tour two summers ago and have brought guests back with us! Ditto all the glowing remarks about the Lincoln Ghost Walk: so interesting, informative, well done!

Where do I start? We hired Garrett for the daytime walk and had the best time ever. We learned so much more than we would have doing the sights on our own. Garrett was so informative with great stories, facts and information that you'd only get from reading lots of books. It was great fun hanging with him for the... More

A wonderful experience! Our "90 minute" tour was closer to 2 hours when adding in questions and extra jokes. ;) It was great - not too much walking - we spent a lot of time sitting down on the steps of a church or the benches at the Lincoln home. Had many great stories and a different perspective of Lincoln... More
