This 3-block long site has been around for decades and houses some of our city's greatest pastimes, including sports venues. In my experience as an AmeriCorps Member, this is the second year in a row that we have had our Annual National Recognition Day, led by our Serve Illinois Executive Director Scott McFarland, held there. Our events are always well-planned... More

They always seem to be very organized. The place is clean the people are friendly and helpful. Unfortunatly we didn't have much time, we were on our way out of town. We had met up with some friends there.

Nice venue, meeting rooms close together from a central hallway but with plenty of space. Bathroom placement is obvious and close at hand. The parking garage is literally just out the door so very convenient. I was particularly impressed by the oversight of the IT crew - Bill's the man!

After the renovation the PCCC looks nice. Generally an okay place to do something depending on what the event it. It has various levels of success depending on the type of event. Don't expect anything too impressive, but it's still an okay place to go.

We were there for the IL FFA state convention. They were very busy. It was OK. It was kind of hot and humid considering the number of people. The center knew what was going on and the weather outside. It was nice to go through the tunnel from the hotel to the convention center though. That was very nice.

Prairie Capital Convention Center or PC3 in downtown Springfield is a venue home to a variety of events. It hosts everything from graduations, concerts, basketball games, and conventions. The University of Illinois basketball team played five games here in 2015. The PCCC went through a major renovation in 2014. It has a great layout for concerts. Recently, Chris Stapleton played... this facility is on the small side but worked well for WWE. We did not have to park but it was very clearly marked for ease. We had seats on the floor. The only complaint was the floor seats were set too close to the row in front. Very hard to get out of the row.

I've attended several different events here in the past including concerts, mma fights, and circuses. They staff the place well with security concession workers the sound and lighting is always great it's a large arena with plenty of bathrooms and easy access to them the shows I have been to are always great. Free Parking is easy to find close... More

Typical convention center..big and barny, with wide corridors and lots of flexible rooms. Parking is across the street, which is relatively inexpensive and convenient.

I've been to the Center more than 50 times for business and pleasure. It's a big open area with bleachers and not much else. The bathrooms are inconveniently located wayyyy upstairs or wayyyy downstairs and the concessions are expensive and not worth it. During circus or other shows the prices go up. There are tons of stairs to get to... More
