The Happy train run by George does two half day trips one to Milatos and the other to George's village of Vrahassi via a stop at the monastery of St.George Selinara. Both trips are €17 each.He also does an hour tour around Sissi at night. We chose to do Milatos this time as we had done the Vrahassi trip previously. We were picked up near our hotel and there are also other pick up points in the town. It takes about 50 minutes to get to Milatos with a few short stops for people to take photos. We stopped first at the old village for half an hour to wander round this traditional village and church. George was also on hand to take a couple of photos of us outside the church. Next stop was at the harbour in milatos for an hour, another nice spot with lots of restaurants/tavernas with a nice harbour area to stroll around. I would recommended both trips as it's an nice way to see different parts of Crete. Thanks to George for a great trip once again.

We went on the half day trip to Vrahassi (I think that’s how you spell it). It was a tranquil journey up through the mountains to the village where George used to live. We were the only two people on the train so got very individual attention! Highly recommended. Hand gel was provided on the train and there was lots of mountain fresh air. It felt very safe. Support George and the local economy and let the train take the strain.

Very interesting tour the talk gave us a new insight into the olive oil we buy in the UK and which to choose . The trip round the area in the road train was enjoyable and we had a very good meal at a small restaurant at the side of the sea when the train took us to a small town in a bay west of sissi all in all a present experience.

Went on both half day trips and loved them equally. An easy, gentle way to see the surrounding area of Sissi, together with a trip to a monastery and George's home village, together with an informative visit to an olive mill and then onto another small coastal village. George is very proud of his village and heritage. Thoroughly enjoyed both trips.
