The kids are 13, 9 and 6 and loved it. Was just stopping for a break from driving cross country and ended up staying for an hour and a half and had to make them leave. Begged to stop on the way back. Park was kind of dirty but kids didn't care. Be sure to take wax paper or some... More

Checked out the giant slides and the kids had fun. These are high school and college kids. Still had a great time for an hour or so.

The mall has great potential to be a gem in the city. Unfortunately, during our visit the abundance of trash and litter distracted from all the mall/park had to offer. The little ones did enjoy the slides. Be sure to take cardboard or an old tshirt to use on the slide.

The views of the city were perfect and the slides were lots of fun however, there seemed to be a problem with littering. There was paper and bottles scattered around the park and the water was polluted, but with a little cleaning this would be a beautiful park.

What a great place to just chill! I decided I needed a well deserved break from the office and took a stroll. I have crossed the bridge to the place so many times and didn't realize what was below. However, this time since I was walking, I was able to see and enjoy the serene area. I didn't realize it... More

We enjoyed walking around the park. It was nice and quaint. It was extremely hot so bring some water if it's a hot day. If you have children and want to slide the slide bring wax paper or cardboard to slide on. They will get stuck on it otherwise. Great exercise for sure.

Our kids spent a couple hours on the slide. Lot's of fun! Nice walking area too. Very relaxing in the middle of a city.

We were there for the US Olympic Swim Trials and they had "swimmers" in the river on the mall. Very creative. Beautiful oasis in downtown Omaha.

Surrounded by downtown buildings, Gene Leahy Mall provides a respite in a quiet few blocks of Omaha. Walking paths, gardens, a lagoon, an amphitheater, sculpture garden. Only downside is that it attracts many homeless and panhandlers who will occasionally harass you.

A pretty park near Old Market. The view is beautiful at sunset with the colors reflecting in the water. The slide was very busy but it looked fun!
