We went on this cruise on a warm Saturday afternoon with another couple and it was very enjoyable. The top deck's canopy was full by the time we boarded, so we sat in the sun and could not hear most of the narration provided by the Captain due to the engine noise. An additional speaker at the back would have... More

This one-hour river boat ride was interesting and enjoyable, primarily due to the weather and scenery. It would have been better if it were longer and covered more sights. There is an open top deck with a roof and an enclosed main deck. Seating is at tables with folding chairs. There were several children on our trip who were very... More

My husband & I picked up a brochure that said the tour started at 1:00 so we hurried so as not to be late. Turned out it started at 2:00. Suggest you call ahead to be sure. The 1 hour tour itself was very pleasant, although they could use another speaker or two to be heard better. Appreciated the beverages... More

Great time! Highly recommend! Kids got to blow the horn by footbridges and Captain was a great guy! We had kids from 25 to 7 and everyone enjoyed it.

My family took this ride and had a fun time. We took the sightseeing tour which was about an hour long, this was the perfect length for our antsy preteen and teen girls. The cruise was not all that elaborate but was something different to do and the boat captain tour guide provided interesting historical facts along the way. When... More

I have attempted to take this boat cruise a total of three times over the past two weeks. Haven't been able to take it yet as each time there is a "problem" with the engines. Staff are friendly however it appears that they use the cruise as a loss lead. They make the customers wait for hours before telling them... More

We had so much fun on the River City Star! A scenic hour trip down the Missouri River made for a fun family day. We sat on both decks and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and fun atmosphere on board. We especially enjoyed traveling underneath the pedestrian bridge in Omaha - the top deck afforded us a great view of the... More

My boyfriend and I went at sunset, and it was really beautiful! You can drink, sit and feel the breeze, music plays! Its not too romantic, but it was still worth going and seeing the view, plus we got amazing pictures of the city skyline! Don't expect anyone to talk over the intercom about what you see along the river,... More

Let me start with the good- the woman at the front desk was very very nice- Now the rest...total waste of my $61 for me and the 3 children. I was told the boat ride was informative- not at all. No one even speaks over any loud speaker, telling you that you are taking off, about a landmark, docking, nothing.... More
