The price: I searched several tours and chose this one which had availability less than 24 hours before. I paid $119 after comparing the trips and because it stated they had the best rate guaranteed. I received a text as a reminder early for the trip that was coming up soon. I seen a different number from the one I booked with and noticed it was the same tour I inquired about earlier. I had informed them that the bus wasn’t there yet and I was overcharged after viewing their website. They’d stated I didn’t book with them it was a 3rd party otherwise they would adjust it. I tried calling Papillon directly but my signal was completely down for several hours. It was the same day that Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp gone down too so I was in complete confusion. Once I received signal I’d contacted the company. Once I explained I’d taken a screenshot of the lower price for $83.20 & $100.00 she said she can do the price adjustment if it’s the same tour. I only booked this particular one because it was worded differently so I thought it had more to offer than the others but upon discussing this trip with the actual company before going out they told me they were the same and they offered a much lower rate. Papillon’s rep left me on a long hold just to come back and tell me that she couldn’t do it because I was on the trip. It was less than 24 hours and the actual company would’ve made the adjustment so I was frustrated the entire day. Not only that later in the trip other passengers were bragging that they only paid $80 for the same trip so I felt even worst like I was giving money away. The trip: The trip started off phenomenal. The driver was informative and he could drive better than most people. He had some great jokes and excellent customer service. It wasn’t until we got to the Grand Canyon I started not to like the bus trip and wanted to take a helicopter instead. Before arriving to the Canyon the driver stated we had one hour but it was actually 40 minutes. In the itinerary it stated 3 hours so that really made my trip worst. I was thinking I’m only a 14 hour bus trip to only go to the Canyon for 40 minutes. We’d entered the canyon and the driver stated it was important that we arrived on time back at the bus at 3:30pm and there were signs to guide us back. We’d rushed through the canyon and on our way back I helped some elderly people and my husband ran for the bus so we weren’t late. We heard the two honks right in front of us but he pulled off so fast we couldn’t get his attention that we were right outside. Others showed up because they missed the bus also. And even more missed other buses which it was about 30 people lost because buses had left them. We’d all called the drivers and no answer. We’d reached out to the actual company and they said the driver was coming back in 20 minutes. We were unsure because initially the driver stated if he’d left us it would be one hour. I guess since so many got left he came sooner. I felt like there needed to be a tour guide keeping up with the passengers instead of the driver being the speaker also. And if we were on a time limit we didn’t need to stop at the other stops because this tour is based on seeing the Canyon. The tour continued on and again people were late on the next stop but of course not left because we were headed to Vegas after this stop. We were dropped off an hour late because we made an additional stop and they switched drivers and many drop offs. I wasn’t happy at all from the beginning to end so when I tour with my groups I’ll have to find another company. The initial driver did well I just feel they need to reorganize this trip and also not leave people because there’s elders and babies on the trip. Give them a little extra time because anything can happen while in the Canyon.…

Papillon Helicopters service is excellent. My wife and I booked the sunset Grand Canyon Grand celebration Experience in late September 2021. From the booking experience, through to check in and the tour, the process was seamless and excellent. The airport is located about 5 minutes drive from the southern end of the Las Vegas strip, and is a quick limo ride. The check in process was quick, and we were fortunate enough to be allocated the front seats, with only one other couple on the flight which ensured it wasn't too crowded. My wife had never flown in a helicopter before and she was quite nervous, however the pilot Brian was engaging and disarming, allaying any concerns she had. The trip out to the Grand Canyon is amazing, and takes you over Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, before descending nearly 3500 ft into the Grand Canyon. On arrival, there is about 20-30 minutes to walk around and take photos, before you sit down to champagne and a picnic snack, in a cute little basket. You then get back into the helicopter and start the return flight, with the climb out of the canyon being truly awe inspiring. The flight is timed perfectly to be arriving over the Las Vegas strip right as the sun is setting, and we did several laps over the strip, and were able to take photos and go pro throughout the flight. Overall this is a once in a lifetime experience, that I can thoroughly recommend. The opportunity to be able to travel into the Grand Canyon, to see the Las Vegas strip from above and too create lifelong memories, is something not to be missed.…

No favorite part. The experience was wonderful from pick-up at our hotel to return. My wife and I managed to secure the front seat upgrade giving us the best views out of the copter. Incredible scenery flying over Lake Mead and the Hoover dam, not to mention the spectacular Grand Canyon and our landing in the canyon for a Champagne picnic. Finally, a fly over the Vegas strip prior to return landing. Highly recommend this company because the prices they advertise are all inclusive. No hidden add-ons; no surprises.…
