Great course with a great caddy
We played at Cascata today. Oh it was a great course. We would travel a lot to play. My cratch friend always told me i must play there. Nestled in mountain desert, every hole was stunning with a great view. Perfect conditions. Moreover we met a great caddy, Lonny Zimmerman. He knows every corner of the course and taught us how to play difficult shots and how to read a tricky line when there is a mountain. He was very kind and superb. I strongly recommend that any time you want to play, please tell the club to arrange him to be your caddy. Great course with a great caddy. 👍

    The Most Incredible Golf Experience
From arrival to departure, this was one of the most incredible golf experiences around. You are greeted, clubs are loaded, car is handled by valet and you go into the club building that is amazing with a river running through it. Everything is top tier, especially the service. The carts are loaded and available in the "grotto" below the pro shop. Our forecaddies, Nick and Patrick were great, friendly, helpful and overall good people. The course is amazing and more than challenging. Do not think you are a rockstar and need to play from the tips. I'm a 3 HC, played the course at 6,300 yds, and it is still all you can handle and not feel beat up after playing. This is a "must do" course for the avid player.

A must play course if in the Las Vegas area.
Played Cascata with my son last week and couldn’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived the level of friendliness and service was excellent, from the guys taking our bags to the pro shop staff and especially in the restaurant from the two young ladies that served us before our round(sorry I can’t remember their names).I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. All the facilities at Cascata are first class, the driving range has to be on par with anything in the world,it really is that good. The course itself is just a wonder of human engineering and design. The holes are all surrounded by desert rock and look almost like they are out of a video game. A caddie accompanies every group and we were very lucky to get Mike (Shrek) as ours and he really did make the experience that much more enjoyable. He knew the course inside out and gave us some great reads on the greens, but most importantly he was just a really great guy. If you are in the Vegas area and you want to play a top of the range course it has to be Cascata, you won’t regret it.

    Overrated for the price
Better caddies required. Tons of blind tee shots, elevation changes so clubbing and start lines are critical. Caddy had me put of play with well struck shots at least 4 times. Walked off after 9. TPC Summerlin and the Wynn are way better courses with much better layouts. Go play Shadow if you’re going to spend that kind of money p

Better places to play in Vegas
Played with some friends that paid a pretty penny for a certificate for golf at a fundraiser. While the course was in decent shape, we played with a caddie, of course. However, when we finished, we were told by the golf shop staff that we didn’t tip the caddie enough???? Who tells someone this? Especially not knowing how much was spent at the fundraiser?
Thank you for playing Cascata recently, and our admiration for supporting the fundraiser where the golf certificate originated from. Our apologies that the experience and communication fell short of what you expected and ultimately deserve. We'd love to learn more about your experience, and more specifically to your interactions with the golf shop related to the caddie fee. This could present a teaching moment, something we can use to improve our processes and communications. Please contact me at your convenience so we can discuss more. Spectacular Golf
Cascata is a stunning golf course. Every hole is a challenge as it goes up and down the mountain. The greens are some of the trickiest you’ll ever find and judging the speed is quite the trick. The first time out here will be tough. The second time through will be easier once you’ve seen how the holes play. The staff is great along with fantastic caddies. Robert McKnight was outstanding. One in our group got an ace and I think Robert was more excited than the rest of us. Panoramic views of the desert. Great experience.

    You won’t regret it
Our favorite LV track. I can’t say enough good things about Cascata. Great fairways, lightning fast greens and just a great golf experience. Putts have to take into account the mountains and valleys. Fore caddies are immense help. We saw coyotes, big horn sheep, quail, road runners, chipmunks and various birds. Clubhouse is spectacular as is the practice facility. Play it if you get the chance. A bit pricey but you’re in Vegas, what the heck.

MUST PLAY for Golf and Nature Enthusiasts
The course had been recently aerated but did not effect its playability. I had the first tee time, by myself, and never saw another person once I left the driving range. Gorgeous course and a MUST PLAY for a real golf and nature enthusiast. Zach my forecaddie was really awesome and seems to know how much to help with depending on your skill level. I hope to return one day but was grateful to get to play this at least once.

    Ridiculous policy
After concluding our round at Boulder Creek in Boulder City, which we found to be a good course at a good price, we decided to stop in at Cascata, to see what this pricey course looked like before considering purchasing a round via Teeoff.com. When we rolled up to the front security gate at Cascata, where we found no human working (a little strange for such a "so called" prestigious property), so we pressed the call button on the security box outside the gates. We asked if we could drive onto the property to take a look at it before deciding to make a considerably expensive purchase for a round of golf. We were promptly and rudely told that we could not get passed the gates, and that we would have to view the course via their website, and basically told to just go away. My wife and I have recently played at other much more prestigious courses that are open to the public such as Pebble Beach and TPC Sawgrass, and I can assure you that we were "allowed" on the property to have a look before we decided to play there. I can fully understand that private courses can and often do not allow the public to enter their property, however this course is open to the public and won't allow you to enter. I do not make any purchase in my daily life that would cost $1000, blindly sending the money without any option to see my potential purchase before executing the transaction. There must be a system that the course could employ to allow potential customers onto their "hallowed" grounds, or else don't call yourself a course that is open to the public. You will never see me at your front gate again, and I will do my best to spread the word regarding your distasteful treatment.
Thank you for posting your constructive feedback on Trip Advisor and making us aware of your experience. I apologize that we didn't handle your visit to Cascata better than we did. Irrespective of the policy, you deserved to be treated with respect and courtesy. All our guests do, those with reservations and otherwise. We have addressed the matter with the team to ensure we do better going forward. And after conferring with our management team, I have learned that due in large part to your experience, our visitor policy has changed to one more welcoming and inviting. I understand none of that erases the negative experience with us, and for that I am sorry, but I hope you will give us another chance to make it right with you. Please contact me directly to discuss more, and so I can personally take care of you the next time you are in Las Vegas. 702-777-2423 or mblais@viciproperties.com. Played here recently, it was worth every penny. The whole experience from pulling up the driveway to departing was first class. They did their best to make you feel as if you were the only people at the course. Forecaddie, Dean, was very knowledgeable of the course, especially the greens. Very patient and a pleasure to have with us. We look forward to coming back next year.

I have played here 5 times in total. I love the course. However this is the second consecutive time I have been talked down to by their head pro. This time I commented to him after buying an overpriced shirt that the pace of play was very slow today at 4 hrs and 30 minutes. I told him I was used to playing in 3 hours when I came out here. He looked at me and said, "That would never happen out here". First of all, you are calling me a liar and I have played the other four rounds out there in under 3 hours and 30 minutes with 2 rounds right around 3 hours. Second, I always play around 8:00. If you are having people play before that who will cause a large slow down like what happened today, then you are not managing your course properly and causing massive issues for the entire tee sheet. That is the pro's fault.

For a course that charges $400 per round, you should be thanking me for my time, my money, and my repeat business. The pro should be fired to improve the course. It would be perfect in every way then.

As title says this is my second time playing this amazing course. I had an ok experience the first time, but this time it was much better. There is nothing bad about this course. From the gated entrance to the valet parking then to be greated and shown to the locker room with your name on a locker. This course is top notch. Last time I played everyone had their hand out looking for a tip, this time the staff was not like that. The pictures on the website do not do this course justice, especially the driving range. This is the best course I have every played. Our caddie for the day was Drew. He made the day so much more enjoyable especially for my father in law who got a few tips from him. My last caddie experience here was not great but this time Drew blew us away with how good he was. He also happens to be the best golfer at the course. Course conditions were beautiful. No snakes this time but we did see a coyote crossing the fairway behind us. Amazing views on this course. Some holes have such a long drive in between them it is hard to imagine anyone wanting to walk this course. All the staff were wonderful. I would play this course every time I visit Vegas even at the price I paid plus caddie fee. The more you play in vegas the better deals you can get. I book directly with Caesars golf and they treat you good. Thanks again for an amazing time.
