if you go to Hoover Dam and have extra couple of hours, take the Lake Mead cruise. It allows you to see Hoover Dam from distance.

This was part of a Hoover Dam tour with Greys. Well organised and plenty of seating inside and out. Included in our tour was lunch..better than Subway ! Very friendly staff and great photo opportunities over the one and half hours we were on board....More

Very nice! Laid back lake cruise to Hoover Dam. The staff was very informative and knowledgeable. Call before driving there to make certain of departure times.

Not to be missed... fantastic scenery all the way and a close-up view of the dam. Make sure you tour the workings of the dam as well - we took a combined tour from Vegas.

Lake Mead offers several cruises. We took the regular 2pm cruise. We had lunch on board and it was very good. Highly recommend the ham deli sandwich with potato salad, Mmmmm. Plenty of tables and air conditioning. 3 levels for viewing the canyon and lake....More

They don't allow outside food or beverages because they sell snacks, food and beverages. Alcoholic and non alcoholic. They have a small gift shop too.
