Train rides are offered on the weekends and I think the gift shop is also open. I visited on Friday and still lots to see, caboose and mail car you can walk inside and plenty of steam and diesel trains to look at.
Near Hoover Dam this impressive railroad museum has different kinds of railroad rolling stock. There are engines, as well as freight and passenger cars. It is fascinating and fun to see the exhibits here, and it is well worth a stop.
