Never showed. Park says they don’t have permits and have been suspended. Don’t answer phone calls or messages.

Do not book with this company. They will take your money and not show up. They canceled our trip the day of while we were waiting for them at the marina. Said we would receive a refund but never did. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Brings a whole new meaning to clear kayaks. We never seen them. 😂

Never got the chance to do the excursion. I tried to contact for pickup location and lunch and no response. Website not working, called repeatedly and no answer. Couldn’t leave a VM because the mailbox was full. The recording prompts you to text this number if you can’t reach anyone. I did 6 times and no response. Paid 583 dollars for an excursion I didn’t even get to take. This place is a scam!!!!!! I’m in the process of disputing this charge with my CC company. The worst of it all is they sent me an email today saying that’s for joining us. If you google this company, I unfortunately I didn’t until after the fact because I thought anything on trip advisor was trustworthy, you will see complaints of being scam and ppl reporting them to the better business bureau. Stay away! I have screenshots of the website not working, all the times I called and my text messages not being responded to. I just tried to upload the screenshots and it won’t let me

I do not recommend using Vegas Glass Kayaks. I have looked through reviews and see good or bad. It seems "hit or miss" with them. In my case it was a terrible experience. We had a group of 14 people from a different state for a Black Tour (the most expensive one and fully paid) in October 2021. All of us took vacation for this tour. We didn't receive the service and were not able to reschedule. When we arrived in Nevada, 10 hours before the tour schedule time the owner Danny called and told us that they didn't have permits for this tour and asked us to reschedule. I pushed back and he gives us a "complementary" kayaking next day on the lake. When trying to reschedule the tour, Danny was unresponsive or rude or he promised to provide booking conformation by certain date but never did. In the end, 5 from our group were able to go on the tour in April 2022 on a 3 day noticed from Danny. The rest of us quit trying because of lack of communication and performance.

Beautiful kayak ride down the Colorado River. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the river and it’s history. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also amazing that they had everything that you needed- water, Gatorade, lunch, snacks, towels and dry bag for personal items.

Worth doing - really a beautiful kayaking trip with two fun stops! My only complaint is that the Glass Bottom Kayaks look pretty, but really do not add anything t the experience. A regular kayak is easier to handle in the water. You also can not really see anything underwater. So do this trip - tell them you want regular kayaks and enjoy the knowledgeable guide and picnic lunch!

An amazing experience kayaking down the Colorado River!
Wit picked us up at our resort on time, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and enjoyable to talk to. Chrissy our guide on the water was wonderful! Again very knowledgeable and made sure we had a wonderful experience! In my opinion kayaking with Vegas Glass Kayaks is a must do for any Vegas vacation!

This experience should be 50 per person at most. It was around $400 for two people on a tandem kayak. You kayak for about an hour - get to a cave - the tourguide literally threw the sandwhiches to us that still had the price $2.88 from the local gas station. Purely falst advertising "gourment lunch". I could have bought a kayak and an epic lunch for cheaper!! Absolutely do not waste your money - there are much better experiences to be had!

I would give this tour a 3 star at best. We booked the escorted tour with Gourmet lunch.

First off, the guides were about an hour late arriving at Willow Beach and in the summer months it is important to start as early as possible to avoid the heat. When we finally got on the water, the tour went ok. We stopped half way to the cave for a short break at a river overlook spot which was nice, but VERY CROWDED with other kayak groups. We stopped just below Emerald Cave for their Gourmet lunch which was not very relaxing or good, as our guide wanted us to get in line to enter the Cave,. (Keep in mind that this place is crowded and there can be a long wait to get into the Cave) There was a fairly long line and wait to get into the cave so our group decided to forego entry into the cave and head back down the river to our start point. One exciting observation on the way back was a family of Bighorn Sheep perched on a ledge just above the river!

Here's my advise and opinion of the Vegas Glass Kayaks tour:

1. A late start is not very professional or a good beginning to a tour.
2. Their GOURMET lunch IS NOT GOURMET as advertised. A $2.95 sandwich and bag of chips was disappointing. Their advertised menu showed a very different lunch experience. However, drinks were adequate.
3. Very crowded experience overall. Lots and lots of kayak tour groups so if you want an uncrowded experience, I WOULD NOT recommend this tour (with any company) this time of year. If you do decide to do this tour, choose a company that can start earlier in the day. (We started about 11:30AM) To late if you want to avoid some of the heat and crowds.
4. Last comment: This tour is way OVERPRICED for what it is. We could have saved a lot of $ to bring our own lunch and do the un-escorted tour. (This tour was only worth one-half of what we paid)
