Plenty of photo ops! You CAN take photos in this small horror homage museum. There's fun signs, hearses, and statues outside to pose with, too. Price of admission is $15, which isn't at all bad for a museum. The size of the collection is relatively small and the total time to go through the whole thing is definitely less than an hour. There is merch, toys, films, masks, and other horror items available in the gift shop. There are additional "add ons" to lengthen the MM experience, like a hearse ride & a haunted house. These are are scheduled/C0VID dependent. Overall, this is a fantastic stop for horror fans or those curious about the fantastic, ghoul sign out front!

It was an amazing collection of horror memorabilia and art, definitely one of my favorite things during my vacation to the Las Vegas area. I'm told the place is going to expand soon, and will include new exhibits. I'm also told that Mr. Devlin teaches makeup classes in the area as well.

BAD! I I am highly disappointed with their lack of professionalism. I scheduled a tour with transportation for Saturday after the horror con & as per their email we had been waiting since 7:45pm In front of the plaza Hotel. We never got picked up from in front of the Plaza. I never received a text or email from them to let me know what was going on.

I went on the midnight tour guided by Tom Devlin himself. He described the place perfectly when explaining what he was going for. It a roadside attraction kind of like Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen. If you get the reference you need to go. The museum is decently sized for something found on the side of the road. The monster are all done by him other than two or three. Some of the monster are sculpted purely by hand one of them being the creature from the black lagoon which was so detailed it blew my mind. The monsters them self rare both Hollywood and b movies. If you're a fan of Troma or Fullmoon he has screen used stuff he created for them. Also should mention it's child friendly.
I would highly recommend going on the night tour. It's just you and Tom with monsters at midnight. He walks you through explaining each monster giving you history and stories as you go. Listening to him talk you can tell he is passionate about FX, monsters, and He-Man. You can take as many pictures as you want. He even encourages you to take them. He also picks you up in a hearse that by itself is cool.
At the end of tour he pulled out the new Blade he was working on for Blade the Iron Cross. He's bigger and better than ever. I want one for myself.
I highly recommend this place. This place is one of a kind and a must for horror fans. So you should go.
Plus at the entrance is the screen used spider gremlin.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and even more so beautiful. I just got back from Tom Devlin's Monster Museum and I was completely blown away. When I stepped into the store I was greeted by Tom and his lovely family. This place truly is a family owned, local business that made my soul feel at home. After paying the VERY reasonable price of $13 to Tom's wife Lola I entered the museum and my trip into the history of the horror cinema began. As I walked through the door I was face to face with Zombie MJ from Thriller and the Crypt Keeper, WOW! Peppered through out the first viewing room are some amazing horror comic books, action figures and a brilliant, life-size Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exhibit that throws back to the 90's films. Let me stop here to mention that Tom has created all the exhibits in museum and they are wonderful. As I moved into the second room I was able to take in several of the films that Tom has graced his talents with. It was so fun to see actual costumes and memorabilia used in the films he's been a part of, The Puppet Master exhibit is insane! After seeing Tom's work the museum lead into a hallway that pays homage to some of the masterful greats from the golden age of horror. This portion of the tour shows Tom's dedication to the history of practical film effects, something all horror film lovers will appreciate. The next room opened up to a whole bunch of really fun exhibits, a few of which included Night of the Living Dead, The Evil Dead, Critters, Child's Play, V, and the big named, slow walking slashers. There were many more exhibits to behold, but you should see them yourself. The whole museum has a very "Mystery Spot" feel, which Tom has a great affinity for. As I exited the museum tour I was washed in nostalgia with a grin from ear to ear. I proceeded to pick up a few T-Shirts and a Night of the Living dead purse for my wife, I was able to strike up a conversation with Tom and Lola as their children played at our feet. While we jawed a bit I began to understand how much Tom loves and appreciates the horror genre and how important practical effects in modern film are. Tom will be the first to admit that the museum is brand new and limited, but I be the first to tell you it is extremely comprehensive and so very fun. Tom will also let you know that he and Lola have a solid plan for the expansion of the museum alone with the addition of several new exhibits. I can't wait to see what they add next. In addition to the horror gift shop they also have a great line of halloween costumes for adults and kids. Tom Devlin's museum is not just a pull off whim on your way to Las Vegas, but to the horror film fans it should be a destination. A++++++++++, Hail to the king baby.

It’s an interesting museum - if you’re a HUGE monster / FX fan, it may be more intriguing than it was for us. We read some interesting info and took some fun pictures, but walking through twice and reading almost all the info only took us about 20 mins.

This review is specifically for the "Frightmare Before Christmas" walk-through experience, basically a "haunted house" of nothing but Nightmare Before Christmas scenes, and it was SO cool! Such a fun experience, lots of great photo opps, and great for families -- although there are some added horror elements too so REAL little ones might get scared! Loved it, thanks Tom & crew for bringing the spooky holiday magic!

My family and I absolutely loved this museum. Where should I start, friendly staff, great museum with unique movie props. Decently sized, the gift shop has cool, fun memorabilia to purchase or just take pictures of. If you’re ever in Boulder City Nevada , you should really check this museum.

How much time should I allow to go thru this monster museum?
Written February 24, 2018
If you just want to look at the displayed figures you can get through in 5 to 10 minutes or so. If you want to read the background material, really examine the craftsmanship and watch the informational videos you could spend 30 minutes or more. It really depends on how indepth you want to get during your visit.
