Husband and I were killing some time before catching our shuttle to our cruise ship and just happened upon this market. It had some of the usual generic junk, but it also had tons of local crafts and some produce. We loved that they sand...More

Moderate sized outdoor market with a mix of food, handmade jewelry & art, the usual imported clothing from Asia and lots and lots of overpriced ulus. Something to do if you have no other plans.

It was nice to see local crafts and things in an open-air space. Fun to walk around and grab a snack. Vendors were very friendly and not at all pushy.

The amount of furs, fishing and hunting gear for sale was enough to turn me away. I was looking more for cultural art or traditional Alaska items to buy.

We went here on a Saturday morning, and there was a good size shopping crowd there, but not so many people that you couldn't easily see what you wanted to. Three whole rows of tents and vendors were set up in the parking lot at...More

Was impressed that all tents were occupied despite the rainy day. 3 rows of vendors - 2 of good and 1 of food. Live music, which would have been enjoyed more on a nice day. We only walked through the vendors, as we were just...More

If you wanna shop, listen to live music, take memorabilia, pet huskies or simply eat the tender-most meat, then this is the place ... I had the best reindeer sausage here ...

The hours were listed as 10-6pm both Saturday and Sunday in the information booklet thst I picked up. I went the two Saturdays that I was in town. The food vendors do pack up and leave once they are sold out.
