I have been to many of these so-called 'farmer's' or 'city markets'. This one was ok but it felt like many others I have been to in the lower 48. Lots of booths but all do not sell local or native items. Some hand-made things...More

We happened to be in Anchorage on a Saturday during our two-week roadtrip of Alaska and came across the market. It was very cool. It is basically a flea market with vendor tents taking over a large parking lot, and the merchandise ranges from touristy...More

Paid to park, walked on over. Live music, food trucks, & loads of stuff to buy. Pretty much what you see all over, with a few exceptions. I guess we were there about an hour. Miss Alaska was there, Star Wars characters were there, you...More

If you’re lucky enough to be in anchorage on a Saturday the farmers market is a must do. Food, crafts, Alaskan collectibles and then a walk into the downtown. I try to get there whenever in Anchorage

I was expecting more of a 'flea market' and somewhat junky stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of hand-crafted and native Alaskan items... woodwork, scarfs, jewelry, and food items. About 300 vendor spots, so we got too tired to see everything. Entry...More

We had free time on June 15, 2019, Saturday. So, we went to the Anchorage Market and Festival. Being sold were locally produced items of jewelries, bone carvings, marble carvings, knives, paintings, creams/lotions, food, drinks, and ice cream. We bought the biggest size cream from...More

Located in downtown Anchorage in weekends during the summer months. Live music, local draft beers, food vendors and dozens of local artists and craft vendors selling their wares all in one convenient marketplace.

We got to about half of the shops and eateries before it started to rain. The rain got so bad that we had to seek shelter. One vendor even said that she was closing up and wouldn't come back the next day!
