Booked this tour as a way of transferring from Anchorage to Whittier to start our Princess Cruise and so pleased that we did. Communication with the company was very good with email reminder from them to confirm the pick up time from the hotel for the next day and providing a link which showed exactly where the bus was using GPS so you could monitor when it was approaching the hotel. Small bus and once the driver had collected the other passengers provided a very informative narrative of Anchorage and the surrounding area. Couple of small stops en route with opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery and then a longer stop of approximately an hour at the conversation area which was a brilliant opportunity to admire the brown bear, moose, musk oxen and other animals. Final drive through the small tunnel to Whittier to board the ship. A great way to do the transfer from Anchorage to Whittier (or in reverse) with a good driver and very informative.

Three hours isn't half-day IMO. We chose this over the Princess shuttle, since they were close to the same price. Very highly recommend this tour, as we were able to stop in a few locations for photos. Our bus driver was very entertaining and had a lot of knowledge. We saw belugas and dall sheep. We also got to spend an hour at the wildlife conservation center, which was a great experience!
