My August 2021 trip from Seward to Anchorage was a great ride for a reasonable price, I have driven to or from Seward more than twenty times in the past few decades by car. This was my first time on a bus. The driver provided an excellent narrative and I learned things about the rout that I had not known. I will certainly do it again.

We took the bus from Denali to Anchorage, as well as to and from Anchorage to Seward. Each driver drove safely and furnished just enough narrative during each trip without being intrusive. Our Denali driver made an extra stop to drop us off at our hotel, rather than having to walk several blocks in the rain and avoid construction. It was a welcome gesture being so late in the evening and after the 6-hour bus ride. This is definitely the best way to travel. Good price - great value!

When we found out it was super expensive to rent a car, we decided to take the motor coach to get around. We were glad we did since there are areas in Alaska that has no cell service. Taking the bus was relaxing and we got to see the place a little better and was glad the driver would point out things and places we would have missed on our own

Our bus driver, Steve Davis, is a hazard to human health and safety. He refused to wear a mask, enforce the mask policy (which he is federally mandated to do), and even scolded someone on the bus loudspeaker angrily for asking to enforce the mask policy. We booked our tickets before delta was as big of a concern, but thought that people would be responsible and take simple precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. There was a person behind me the whole time who didn’t wear a mask! I was so appalled and angry that I had to sit in bus for more than 3hrs. It should not have been that long of a ride either, but Steve Davis left some passengers behind, and had to pull over on the side of the road to wait for them to be shuttled to us, and told us that he was already driving for twelve hours that day and “logged off” of work while waiting to not exceed a certain amount of driving hours. This issue, on top of his refusal to wear a mask or enforce the policy when asked, made for a terrible and scary trip! Please fire Steve Davis! He should not be responsible for lives of a bus full of people if he has such a blatant disregard for safety.

We're so sorry to hear that your experience on the bus ride wasn't a positive one, and thank you for providing us such constructive feedback. We're following up with the driver to make sure he adjusts his commentary style and correctly enforces the ongoing mask mandate we have for all guests and drivers this season.

The driver on our trip from Seward to Anchorage used a hand-held microphone to provide narration while steering the bus one-handed at high speeds. Clearly unsafe, and apparently standard procedure for this operator. I would avoid using them if at all possible.

We're sorry to hear that you were left with a negative impression after your trip with us. We pride ourselves on having some of the best drivers in the business, all of whom go through rigorous safety training before and throughout the summer season. Safety is always the first priority, and narration provided as an added benefit to our passengers. As to that narration, we hope it enriched your time traveling through our beautiful Alaska scenery.

Bus ran on time and was as comfortable as a motor coach normally is. Drivers were friendly and added some commentary.

But the bus was *packed*. And no requirement - or even any mention - of wearing a mask. So most people didn’t.

We appreciate you letting us know your thoughts about the the Park Connection. We are glad to hear your driver was friendly and that the transportation was both on time and comfortable. However, we apologize that your experience ultimately fell short of your expectations. As part of our Covid-safe travel practices for 2021, we required masks onboard for all guests. Drivers were required to wear masks during the boarding process, and could choose to remove their mask while driving, which is an additional safety consideration to leaving the first row of seats closed to passenger seating. Our expediter teams went back to wearing masks while checking in guests following the updated CDC mask guidance mid-summer. All this said, some drivers did a better job at communicating the requirements to guests, and some guests were less cooperative. Thank you again for your feedback.

We were on the bus for eight hours or so and it felt like minutes. The driver/guide was absolutely excellent, both in spotting animals and driving skills over winding and twisting roads. She narrated just enough to be interesting and not boring and made the time fly. Enjoyed every minute.

If you have the need to travel between Seward and Anchorage and have the option of a train or Motorcoach take the train. Our driver talked NON-STOP for the whole 3 1/2 hour trip. She gave some details on the areas we were passing but we were almost held hostage to hear about her drone on and on and family members and her rambling thoughts. If your only option is the bus then have noise cancelling headphones.

We're very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your transfer between Seward and Anchorage. Even though many travelers enjoy narration aboard both the motorcoach and train, it's important to know when the length of narration and topics loose a traveler's interest. We appreciate your feedback.

We thoroughly enjoyed our "Day in the Park" and would recommend this trip for anyone. Enjoyed the wildlife and the information from our driver/guide. If we did the trip again, I would take the extra time and spend at least one night in the park.

Yes, 83peggyr, 'maneuvering' is about right! There's still a lot of work to be done on that highway. Our driver was very professional and his occasional commentary was interesting and informative. The bus was clean and comfortable and everything was on time. The scenery was beautiful (especially the golden eagles)!
