I cannot recommend Regal Air enough. I've flown with them twice now and each flight was unique and insightful.
The most recent flight was a 3 hour trip to see glaciers and it didn't disappoint; from the knowledge of the pilots to the locations they're able to access, the whole experience from start to finish was excellent and very reasonably priced for a once in a lifetime experience.
If you're in the area and looking for a reputable, reliable, knowledgable and friendly company to fly with... Regal Air is that company.

Regal Air was so easy to work with and very accommodating when re-scheduling our trip to Lake Clark due to weather. Third time was the charm and we were able to safely head out with Bob as our pilot. I 100% recommend Bob, he was awesome! He took the time to re-assure my friend who was nervous about the flight and experience. Bob went above and beyond to show and explain interesting facts about Lake Clark beyond just seeing the bears. Beyond the bear viewing, he taught the kids about quicksand, jade, gold deposits and pointed out wolf tracks in the sand. Bob used his expertise to ensure we had a safe, fun and memorable experience. I will definitely recommend not only Regal Air to visiting family, but I will have them ask for Bob to be their pilot.

10 out of 10 would recommend flying with Regal Air for an Alaskan experience of a lifetime. We went bear viewing in Lake Clark and I can’t say enough about how fantastic it was. Our pilot Nick M was incredibly knowledgeable and shared interesting alaska history and facts during the whole flight and tour. The bear viewing was phenomenal and then Nick flew us to a wonderful beach for a lunch picnic which was the perfect way to end the tour.
The entire operation at Regal is extremely well run from top to bottom and you can really tell how much pride they take in providing their passengers with top notch service while also always keeping safety a top priority. I can’t recommend Regal enough for all of your Alaskan flight seeing and charter needs.

M Graham,
Thank you for this response. It so awesome to hear when our passengers see our deidication to the whole experience, not just in the airplane. Safety is always our number one priority, but after that it is fully the customer experience, starting when your foot first touches our office. So glad to hear you enjoyed the bear viewing and had a great trip with Nick M., he's one of the best!
THANKS

In today's world of "cookie cutter" large commercial excursion options, it is quite a blessing to find this gem of an operation. The Kindness, caring and honesty are felt form your first phone call. I am a solo traveler and often turned away unless I book two spots for an adventure. Trisha just gave me a ring and let me know when a solo spot was available on the Knik Glacier trip. Our pilot Deon kept us entertained as he shared his knowledge of Alaska and narrated our adventure. It was unfortunate we were not able to land near the glacier for safety reasons. The views, angles and colors were spectacular. Nature/weather are un predictable. I respect our pilots decisions as he kept us safe while we enjoyed this birds eye view of Alaska wilderness.

JG,
Thanks for the review! The Knik is one of our most popular tours for all of the obvious reasons! It is amazing that that scenery is just a few short minutes from Anchorage. As to our service at Regal, I am so happy you had the experience you explained. We do everything can to ensure each customer has a memory like yours and our team like Trisha and Deon are excellent examples of our ability to accomplish that task.
Thanks so much for flying with Regal Air and your awesome compliments. We are excited to be able to share this amazing place and create more similar memories with Regal guests in the years to come!

We had the pleasure of flying with Regal Air out to 20 Mile Lake for an overnight trip last summer. We flew out in the evening and had an amazing flight over the Turnagain Arm. They even spent time flying over Blueberry Pass so we could look for mountain goats!
We spent the night on a sand bar, then floated out the 20 Mile River with a 14-foot raft and multiple packrafts. Safe to say, it's a trip we will never forget and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a true backcountry epxerience. Everyone in the company was cordial and great to work with, so we will be recommending Regal Air to all of our friends who come to visit Alaska!

My wife and I recently took the vacation of our lives in Alaska. One of the highlights of that trip was our trip via Regal Air to Katmai National Park and Brooks Falls for the bear viewing. The trip down to Katmai itself was awesome, tremendous scenery all the way down to King Salmon Airport, then a quick float plane trip onto the lake at Brooks Camp in Katmai. There were dozens of brown bear after the salmon. We saw most of them actually, including many young ones down by the bridges and walkways near the camp. We had a slight wait to get on to the upper viewing platform (restrictions because of Covid) there weren't as many bears there, but they were huge. All the rangers were great. We did get caught in a 'bear jam' when we had to wait for a bear to clear the path back. Our guide/pilot Eric was terrific, very friendly, accommodating and full of knowledge.

Scheduled a trip with Regal to fish for Alaskan Pike. We were fortunate enough to get a clear, calm Anchorage day. Our pilot Nic conducted a very professional trip for us. He explained everything beforehand so that there were no surprises. Beautiful trip out to the frozen lake and back. Nic narrated over the aircraft's intercom system all of the interesting facts and sights of the trip. He spotted and pointed out seven moose bedded down in the ice and introduced us to his bald eagle friend at the lake when we landed. Very professional tour. Highly recommended and look forward to using Regal again on my next trip to Alaska. Thanks again Nic!

Our Regal Air floatplane tour of Denali was our favorite part of our Alaskan trip. Our pilot, Bob, was absolutely fantastic and provided us with tons of information and stories about climbing the very mountains we were flying over. He was a fantastic pilot and made sure to give us the best views possible. We lucked out and had the perfect day and visibility of Denali. The entire flight was absolutely breathtaking. I can’t recommend Regal Air, and Bob enough. If you are on the fence about booking a flight seeing tour, it is 100% worth every penny and one of the best ways to truly get a glimpse of the wild Alaska.

Thanks for the great review. Seeing Denali by air on a sunny day really is one of the most spectacular experiences to be had. So glad you enjoyed your time with Bob - he's one of the best. Thanks again - so happy we could share in this memory with you all!

Regal Air made our trip to Brooks Falls exceptional! The flight to see the bears was almost as good as seeing the bears. Our pilot - Jay - clearly loves his job, which makes all the difference.
He took us on breathtaking routes between peaks, glaciers and above wild rivers and lakes. He told us the story of his de Havilland Beaver (the plane that tamed the Alaskan wilderness), tales of his bear encounters around Alaska and the history of some of the settlements we were seeing from above. Safe, professional and all-around excellent!

I flew to Katmai for a day trip. Regal Air’s staff was quick and efficient at checking me in. Free coffee for those who need a little boost. Next, we met our pilot, Jay, who was friendly, knowledgeable and a safe pilot. We spent 4 hours at Katmai, some of the best moments of my summer, before flying home through Lake Clark Pass (we flew there on the way there too). LCP has many beautiful glaciers.
Thanks for a great day! I will recommend you to all of my friends and family.

Hi. We will be in Anchorage 18 May 2024. We understand this is early for bears but we would love to see them. Is this possible this early with Regal?
