We had a very informative trolley tour on our first visit to Anchorage - would suggest anyone new to the city does this.

It was wonderful. We had a driver that was an actor and she sang funny songs and told stories about Anchorage. I would recommend this Trolley Tour if you are in Anchorage.

Cost $20 per person, but offered a decent snapshot of Anchorage history. Includes info on earthquake that hit city. Last about an hour

For Latin people was hard to follow all the information received by the driver at the same time that she was singing.

As with most tours I've taken it is the tour guide that makes the trip. We were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. She was a retired school teacher who was able to give insights that the casual visitor would miss.

It was a valuable tool to start the Alaska Tour. We were given many tips and ideas of what and how to visit this beautiful state.
