We did Planet Earth Adventures City Tour on July 11 with Jeremiah and it was the perfect start to our Alaskan adventure! We first went to the Aviation Museum which was of great interest to my husband and Jeremiah allowed us to go through at our own pace and was interested to learn a few tidbits that my husband shared... Albert Marquez is a treasure. His photo tours of Alaska are amazing. He is very accommodating and exceptionally knowledgeable. He always puts each client's needs first. If you want to view sunsets or Aurora Borealis or wildlife, Albert and Planet Earth Adventures is your best bet.

When traveling to a new, unfamiliar destination with a full itinerary I sometimes hire a guide to ensure that 1) I make the most of my limited time, 2) I get away from the crowds of group-tours, and, 3) I make the right choice for activities, accommodations, etc., with which I otherwise would be unfamiliar. Hiring a tour company also... More

My wife and I did the 6+ hour tour around Turnagain Arm. Our guide (and company founder) Albert - was very knowledge and accommodating. He shared lots of history of the area along with interesting facts about the environment and wildlife. The weather didn't cooperate a ton (it was quite rainy) but Albert made the best of it with a... Planet Earth is everything you want in a tour company because they cater to your every want. They had so many choices of adventures and tours, that it was hard to decide what to do in 8 days. They get you places via plane, vessel, and rail, so you will cover a lot of territory with them. They have excellent... More

I thought this tour company did a great job. As someone who travels a lot for work, I usually handle the accommodations and trip details rather than go through a tour company. I am so happy they handled it for me for this trip. Jeremiah was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, fun and flexible. We could change direction as we went.... More

Great bus great tour, great guide. My 23-year old son and I had the pleasure of taking A 4-hour day trip Wildlife tour from Anchorage. Albert clearly loves his work, and it shows. He took us to some wonderful spots, and was more than patient in waiting for our group to find its way back to the bus each time.... More

We booked a trip to Matanuska Glacier and was driven by Marlene. She kept a very informative commentary on the almost 2 hour drive to the glacier and back. Since we were very prepared for the trek (not), Marlene lent us 2 pairs of gloves, thank you. We were accompanied by a very knowledgeable and very funny MICA guide, Lacie... More

Since I was only in Anchorage for 1 day before getting on a cruise ship, I wanted to do something which would let me see some of Alaska’s abundant wildlife. I found Planet Earth Adventure Tours online but had questions about the different types of tours they offered. I called them up and got a direct answer from Albert -... More
