Go on a dog sled ride with an experienced guide or learn to drive your own dog sled behind your very own team of sled dogs. Located just 60 miles north of Anchorage, this is the closest dog sledding in the Anchorage area by more than 30 miles. Winter jackets, pants, and boots provided for all guests, heated visitor's center and theater, bed and breakfast onsite. Alaska Mushing School is a joint venture of several professional dog sled racers, representing more than 40 years, 40 Iditarods, and over 100 other sled dog races completed.
