Michael was an excellent guide. It was very obvious he knew what he was doing and really enjoys bringing people out. The dogs were fantastic. Loved playing with them afterwards too. So friendly. I am telling everyone who has been saying that they plan to go to Alaska to make sure this is one of their stops. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Michael for helping to make one of my bucket list items so successful. You folks are the best!!!

Had the best time dogsledding with Dee Dee Jonrowe! Beautifully crisp day, lots of warm layers, and amazing views of Denali, Mt Susutna, and the Talkeetna and Chugach mountain ranges. And the dogs were amazing!! Fantastic adventure, highly recommend!!

My husband and I did the winter dog sled ride today with the Alaska Mushing School. Our location was the Happy Trails Kennel in Big Lake, AK. We thoroughly enjoyed the short documentary film in the beginning, meeting the dogs, and going on a seven mile sled ride through the snow and woods. Tim, our musher, was very nice and answered all of our questions. You could tell the dogs are well cared for. The company provides outerwear if needed (boots, snow pants, and heavy coats). This was a super fun experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Alaska in winter.
