Come join us on a Segway Tour of Anchorage! Take a tour around Downtown Anchorage, watch the salmon spawn in Ship Creek, take in views of the Cook Inlet and the Alaska Range, and ride through history at the Alaska Statehood Monument and the historic Alaska Railroad terminal.

Segway Tours of Anchorage provides an approximately 90 minute guided tour of Downtown Anchorage on a Segway, the gyroscopically enhanced Personal Transporter. Learning to ride a Segway is simple and fun for the whole family! Before we start the tour, your guide will lead you through an orientation and training of riding a Segway!

Some of the sites you may see during the tour include:

Stops to view King Salmon and Silver Salmon returning from the ocean to spawn at Ship Creek.

A view of the Cook Inlet, the Alaska Range, Mt McKinley and Mount Susitna at Resolution Park.

The Alaska Statehood Monument with views of Anchorage’s original town site

The historic Alaska Railroad Terminal.

Town Square in the heart of downtown with its fabulous flower displays.

Westchester Lagoon and the multitudes of migratory bird inhabitants.

The Delaney Park Strip and Centenial Rose Garden.

The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.

"Star The Reindeer," our local resident and mascot. And Yes, she is a real reindeer!

Don't miss out on this great, fun-filled experience in Anchorage!

We have segwayed before but were still thrilled with this experience. Our guide Drew was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. The tour is a great way to see the city and a way of marking places you want to go back and see. Highly recommend!

Ryan or Ron if you from the south was AWESOME!!! A Segway tour is one of the best ways to see any downtown & find out history & fun places to shop, eat or take a peek at. Ron was charismatic, funny & full of knowledge about Anchorage's history. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed every aspect of it!!!

We took an afternoon Segway tour of Anchorage in mid-July. Our guide did an excellent job with the training and gave us time to get comfortable. We were surprised how easily you could learn to ride one. With the segway, we could effortlessly cover a large amount of ground and the guide was excellent, very knowledgeable of the area and... Our 12 year old got to finally ride a regular Segway (many require 16 or older)! This tour also has a modification to accommodate younger and older riders (a three wheeled scooter with a seat you could sit or stand up on). They take safety seriously (don't let the video scare you) and make sure everyone has the hang of... More

I have taken many segway tours in various cities I visit. This is one of the best. It took me to areas I did not see on the trolley tour. Sara, the guide, was great and she did explain the history of the area.

This was our first attempt at a Segway, and we're in our 60's! After the great training that Drew gave us, we were set for a fun time. The tour was just enough to give us some good info about the area, a little history, as well as suggestions of other things to explore. And we were confident in how... More

We were extremely impressed with the level of safety and attention to detail that our guide, Buzz Rohlfing provided for us. He took the time to make sure each member of our group understood everything there was to know and gave us a great history lesson, providing incredible statistics about Lake Hood Seaplane Base. We would do it again in... More

A great way to tour the downtown area. Our knowledgable guide showed us the highlights of downtown Anchorage as well as part of the beautiful walk/bike path down by the waterfront. A Segway allows you to go farther than if walking, but you see more than if you are driving. Love this way of touring!

Tour guide was wonderful and funny too. We had a large group and he was able to get us all up and going quickly. The segways are very easy to ride!

Our group of 6 ranged in age from 15 to Seniors. Four of us were first time segway riders. We had an introduction to Segways and then Sara got each of us started on our own Segway. Our tour of downtown Anchorage was excellent. We spent some time on the Coastal Trail, meandered through a neighborhood and then traversed downtown... More
