Come join us on a Segway Tour of Anchorage! Take a tour around Downtown Anchorage, watch the salmon spawn in Ship Creek, take in views of the Cook Inlet and the Alaska Range, and ride through history at the Alaska Statehood Monument and the historic Alaska Railroad terminal.

Segway Tours of Anchorage provides an approximately 90 minute guided tour of Downtown Anchorage on a Segway, the gyroscopically enhanced Personal Transporter. Learning to ride a Segway is simple and fun for the whole family! Before we start the tour, your guide will lead you through an orientation and training of riding a Segway!

Some of the sites you may see during the tour include:

Stops to view King Salmon and Silver Salmon returning from the ocean to spawn at Ship Creek.

A view of the Cook Inlet, the Alaska Range, Mt McKinley and Mount Susitna at Resolution Park.

The Alaska Statehood Monument with views of Anchorage’s original town site

The historic Alaska Railroad Terminal.

Town Square in the heart of downtown with its fabulous flower displays.

Westchester Lagoon and the multitudes of migratory bird inhabitants.

The Delaney Park Strip and Centenial Rose Garden.

The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.

"Star The Reindeer," our local resident and mascot. And Yes, she is a real reindeer!

Don't miss out on this great, fun-filled experience in Anchorage!

A coworker who lived in Anchorage for several years said she always took visiting friends and family on this tour and it was a lot of fun and a great way to learn about the city. We were not disappointed! Our guide was excellent and knew so much about the city, it's history, culture and environment. Although the video they... More

Even though we showed up at the last second and only had an hour, they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Even called in a guide at the last second. Don't remember his name, but he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Thanks. Bill & Sharon

This was a great activity! We received excellent instruction on how to ride the Segway, making it super easy. We had a great guide who took us to various points of interest around the city. The views were amazing, we did the 6 pm tour. Would highly recommend this tour! Low impact, learned a bit about Anchorage and had a... More

This was a fun way to see Ancorage. Drew, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure that we were well taken care of. The equipment appeared to be well-maintained. I only wish they had helmets with built-in headsets so that everyone could hear what the guide was saying.

We were able to do a private tour at 8am since we came from east coast and haven't adjusted to the time difference yet. It was awesome. Ryan was very helpful to those of us who were overly nervous. He hasn't been in Anchorage very long but was very knowledgable! The roads were quiet but he paid a lot of... More

We had a very nice guide (Danielle) who told us of the history of Anchorage and some of the interesting spot. The weather was spectacular and we were given plenty of time to get comfortable with the machines. It was good fun.

Obviously segways are so much fun to ride, but what made our tour really great was our guide Ryan. His patience in getting us set up and his tolerance for our immature behavior was much appreciated. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the city, interesting, and smart, plus we learned a bunch of fascinating things about salmon that kind of blew my... More

They. Went out of their way to ensure our safety and EVERYONES enjoyment, from those that got it, to those that felt out of the Segway. It was a group effort and a pleasant experience.

I know, I know, you look like a geek with the helmet, but frankly, you get past that the first time you motor down the path. In my case, I did a private tour with Ryan, and he was great. It is not just the fun of a segway, it is seeing the sites of Anchorage, and learning the history.... More
